Yeah don't start on Hard difficulty. Did that myself and had a horrible experience. It does not make the game more difficult in any natural way and only turns enemies into insane bulletsponges.
Personally for me, being a trans female, creating female personas in games has always been important to me. Allows me to live in a world as the gender I identify as.

It's a mix of stuff for me. If it's something I don't own on vinyl or CD or tape I listen to it on Spotify. If it's something I do own on vinyl, CD or tape I listen to it on those in that order.
When outside walking it's either tape or Spotify.
I saw Madrugada live back in 2005-2006. One of my first live gigs. Loved every second of it. Shame the guitarist died.
I also love the fact they're from around where I grew up.
Synth pop, italo disco, Hi NRG, EDM, dubstep, techno, trance, drum'n'bass, new wave, new age, pop rock, NDW, industrial, NDH, EBM, darkwave, synthwave, retrowave.
I've also dabbled in hiphop, but not much newer stuff.

Ice Breaker is actually alright for me. I find it's designed in a very run'n'gun friendly way.
My least favourite is probably the target practice map. Just not a fan of the design.
Never played Alex Kidd growing up cause my family had PC and SNES. I did play a Sega Mega Drive at someone else's house and have more nostalgia with that than the Master System, and that was after Sonic released so that was what I played.
I have played some Alex Kidd later and yeah, it's pretty fun and I can see why he was Sega's mascot for a while. Didn't hold a candle to Sonic of course.
I never played Theme Hospital or Theme Park or any management sims as a kid, weirdly.
Oh god, now I remember how many hours I spent playing 3D Pinball Space Cadet in Windows 95.
