  1. In recent memory, Wolfenstein II had an amazing ending. Definitely worth the entire experience. I also loved the ending to the original Tomb Raider II game, where you fight some bad guys in Lara's mansion and nearly get to see her naked before she asks "don't you think you've seen enough?" and shoots the camera with a shotgun. Ahhh, good times.
  2. The original Modern Warfare is a good choice as it kinda shook up the genre a bit when it came out. Remains fun to play to this day too. And the Crysis games are awesome, especially the original. Not the greatest in terms of story or pacing but they definitely set their mark on the genre.
  3. Hmm, for me it's a very strong tie between the original Doom and Quake. Both popularized the genre and it wouldn't be what it is today without those games. Doom was in many ways the true father of the entire genre, and set in stone a lot of the conventions that still apply today. And Quake added mouse look and WASD controls and a true 3D environment. Heck, there are remnants of the original Quake engine in a lot of stuff today even.
  4. But he's not getting it for PS4, even if that is the case.
  5. And you can play most if not all XBox One games on Windows 10 with improved graphics anyway.
  6. Still need to buy an XBox at some point...
  7. Doesn't seem like it will from what I've seen.
  8. Didn't play that until very late, around 2004 or something when I bought it second hand.
  9. Oh god yes, me too. Can't wait for it to launch. Unfortunately I can't afford it yet but I will probably buy it post launch or right before.
  10. Controller. The wheel just feels strange since it's not attached to anything. Kinda just feels like you're holding something detached from your car.
  11. I need to get around to trying Chrono Trigger on SNES.
  12. I'm with you. Sex in video games is fine as long as it serves the story. Sex just for the sake of it often comes off as awkward. I'm not by all means against nudity as long as it feels natural and part of the universe/story, like in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 game.
  13. You should be able to run it but not at the highest settings. I'd recommend medium or high settings and you should get at least 100 fps. Here are the system requirements: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 system requirements (minimum) OS: Windows 7 64-bit or later CPU: Intel Core i3-4340 / AMD FX-6300 RAM: 8GB GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2 GB / GTX 1050 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 HDD: 55GB HD space DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent Network: Broadband Internet connection Sound Card: DirectX Compatible Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 system requirements (recommended) OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU: Intel i5-2500K / Ryzen R5 1600X RAM: 12GB GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 390 / AMD RX 580 HDD: 55GB HD space DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent Network: Broadband Internet connection Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
  14. Usually games would be given to me and my siblings as a shared gift. I don't think any of us had our own games until much later. I distinctly remember opening a present and getting Magical Quest for the SNES. Was a fun game too.
  15. Yeah my family had one PC that we shared. Later I inherited that when my mom got a new one and used it for a lot of early stuff like making music and making games in Game Maker as well as playing games.
  16. Only small scale really. I was at a local retro gaming gathering and almost won a Super Mario Kart Wii tournament.
  17. No. But my brother broke a shoe shelf of mine when he lost at C&C Red Alert. But he had severe anger management issues at the time.
  18. Rivals is the one I'm playing nowadays.
  19. If they can release a game like Black Ops 4 and charge $60 for a game with no single player campaign, I feel we've gone too far.
  20. Depends on where you get them, unfortunately most sellers are online these days and like to put online prices on things. Unfortunately neither of those games sold particurarily well so the rarity is also taken into account.
  21. I've never played that, I think. Was it one of the newer ones?
  22. Good choice, in my opinion it's not a very good Fallout game but it's a better game than Fallout 3.
  23. Speaking of, Fallout 76 is releasing soon!
  24. Well, I assume you got Modern Warfare Remastered as well, so that's still a pretty good deal for 2 games imo
