I dont purchase on the PS store because the prices tend to be the same or higher than the physical games. I will normally get better prices at gamestop or walmart. I do have a 20% off coupon that came with my PS4 that I've meaning to use but I will just wait for a sale.
it will maybe stay within the 399.99 price range. I dont think physical discs will become obsolete yet at least not for this next generation. There are rumors of an Xbox one coming this year for digital games only, cheaper since it will not have an optical disc drive.
True, most of these games will be the same for each generation, For example I'm a big fan of Mortal Kombat , but from MK 1-3 it was the same game, MK deadly alliance, Deception and Armageddon as well same thing just more characters and the same can be said for the recent MK games and the upcoming one this year.
There are some video game franchises that will deliver almost the exact same game every year, Call of Duty, Sports game (NBK, FIFA, Madden) , Assassins creed or even Lego games. While the changes may be subtle between each game the gameplay is basically the same.
Why do you think people will purchase the same game every year ?
Crackdown already failed, Far Cry: New Dawn is having some good reviews but most will agree that its to similar to Far Cry 5. I do have high hopes for Days gone, I own a PS4 and I will always prefer a single player experience.
I will just select a default look and maybe add a new hair style but thats about it. For most RPG games the looks dont really matter if you are going to spend most of the game with a helmet or mask.
I dont think its going to happen any time soon, Rockstar is still working with RDR 2 online and they are maybe preparing a sequel to bully, and GTA 5 online is still going strong.
The last update was last year and rockstar confimer they are starting to bring ideas for GTA 6 but nothing concrete yet. Sadly I will say the release will be for next gen consoles.
So far any manufacturer's default controller has worked fine for me, But I mostly rate my controllers as to how they feel while playing, The N64 controller always felt weird, as well as the Wii mote and Nunchuk while playing games that didn't really require motion controls.
I restarted the game a couple of times , the highest level I could get was 74
Xbox 360 been playing it for some years now
Many I guess but not all of them, the hardest I will say it was the a quest of the College of Winterhold but it was mostly because I wanted to play those quests with Magic and magician robes even though I was a duel wielding Nord XD
By dictionary definition "Art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination".It may not fall under classic art like music or painting, but gaming is definitively art.
Maybe Free to play games where the micro-transactions are only cosmetic and do not affect gameplay. I dont really purchase skins or anything like that, but as far as I know league of legends and Fortnite are two games where its just cosmetic micro-transactions. I could be wrong since I believe fortnite has lootboxes but I dont know much about them.
There are many Video game franchises out there, but even the most popular ones like Halo, Call of Duty, Super Mario or Assassins creed will have one or two games that dissapoint, some of them ruined the franchise for some gamers like Mass effect Andromeda or Dead space 3 for example.
Lets try to name a few of those games or what is your opinion on the topic ?
I think this is old news, I remember seeing this same topic about 2 years ago. As far as I'm concerned Sony Japan was the last one doing manufacturer reparations on the PS2.
