  1. This is why competition is important - it keeps things from becoming too stagnant.
  2. Yep - CDPR has been on quite a role lately destroying their own reputation left and right. Prior to Cyberpunk, they were seen as the "golden standard" but it turns out they're just like the rest.
  3. Fortnite only survives on reputation right now - they've run out of ideas for events and the game has lost its glamor.
  4. The problem with the gaming community we only react as a group when things get way out of hand and it starts affecting most people. We need to be more proactive as a group and show some unity.
  5. Well, it seems that if you pay the US government enough, they'll turn a blind eye to anything:
  6. PC is the best platform for modding any game at all. The Xbox would be the only console I could recommend for modding but it's basically like a budget PC so...
  7. That's the thing - Konami no longer cares about long-term success. They only want instant profits - nothing else matters to them anymore.
  8. Yeah, this is a bit of a weird one though. Removing negative user reviews will only create further distrust between CDPR and their consumers. I agree the whole situation should have been handled a bit better by GOG because they do market their platform as non DRM.
  9. I think she means the controllers of newer consoles like the PS5 which has some additional functionality compared to the PS4 controllers.
  10. I was talking about an in-game companion. They're useless most of the time - all they do is run into battles that they can't win and get themselves killed unless you intervene and stop them somehow.
  11. I wouldn't say obsession but I do like Skyrim a lot and it has to do with the fact that the game can be modded to your specific preferences to create the experience you want.
  12. I agree - sometimes I even fall asleep during the session lol.
  13. Metal Gear has been around since the late 80s and Elder Scrolls the Late 90s. It's not in any chronological order. I just wrote out the game franchises I could remember off the top of my head and I forgot to put in Street Fighter and Castlevania which are also from the 90s.
  14. You need to finish all the main story and side quest - it even has a completion tab so it can tell you how much percentage of the game you have already completed.
  15. The Dual Shock 4 is a quality controller I must admit. It's just that the Xbox controller has more compatibility out of the box with PCs.
  16. You're the exception mate, mine broke at least once a year before I got into PC gaming. I'd argue that it's the poorest controller Sony has ever made.
  17. Yes, For instance, Skyrim Special Edition came out a few years ago and now we're going to have an anniversary edition which is the same game but with a few perks. This doesn't make any sense at all.
  18. I have so many games on Steam that I can always get a new game to play but often times I tend to forget about them.
  19. The game has never really given a conclusion as to what would happen if you eliminated all humans. For all we know, they could just blow up the planet.
  20. I agree - taking a break and doing other things helps you to return to a calm state of mind.
  21. Same here - I usually wait for some kind of discount unless I find one on launch day which it is more common than most people know.
  22. I'd say first person is naturally more immersive because you get to see things through the character's own eyes instead of an over the shoulder view so you're more immersed in the experience.
  23. Pause the game and look it up obviously. I mean, it's kinda pointless just to keep spamming buttons hoping something works. It may have worked in older games but in modern games, it takes skill to make any progress in most games.

    Water polo

Same 🤣 but in all seriousness, it is a pretty fun sport to play at pool parties and it can get pretty wild.

    Polo

It seems like a very interesting activity and it must take a lot of concentration and effort. I mean you have to be doing that while keeping control of the horse.
