StaceyPowers Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 What are some events that happen in games that make no in-game sense? Like in Skyrim, all the assassin attacks. Out-of-game, the reason for them is so you learn there is an assassin’s guild. But in-game, the attacks are never explained.
The Blackangel Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 The Hatfields & McCoys meets Romeo & Juliet feud in RDR2. Out of game it's obviously about land, money, and power. In game, not even the two families involved can remember what started the feud, how long it's been going, and why it's still going. In the middle of it, Romeo from one family, and Juliet from the other are in love and carrying on a secret affair with each other. From what I gather, if their families found out, their lives would be forfeit. That has never been directly stated at any point that I can recall, but from the atmosphere between both families, it wouldn't surprise me.
killamch89 Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 You have a point there. I always wondered why assassins would be after the Dragonborn when he'll save their skins from the dragons. Normally, I roleplay it as some opposing force trying to stop the DB but in reality, it makes no sense.

I was actually thinking that I was the only one whom it didn't make sense to but obviously there are others in the same shoes as I was.
