When does frustration make a game stop being fulfilling for you?

When I can't finish a scenario in a game after a good amount of tries, I normally put the game down for a couple of days or maybe a few weeks before I pick it up again so that I can approach it with renewed enthusiasm.

One example of lack of skill causing me to not get past something and quit would be the first test in the first Driver game.  I know I've stated this before, but it fits this topic.

At what point does frustration with the difficulty level of a game and/or your lack of skill overwhelm your sense of fun or fulfillment?

Personally, that hardly happens to me but whenever it gets to such point, then I must have exhausted all the tricks, strategies, skills and experience I have to best the level all to no avail.
