Well, if it's really important for me to test try the beta version of such applications, I'm definitely not going to fuss too much over it and give it a try. If it goes well cool, if not we look for another.

I have noticed it's not possible to have bug free experience considering the app updates happen every month.

Yeah - That's the main essence of applications updates all the time. I used to hate updating my apps till I had an experience with one silly bug that keep closing the app whenever I open it.
skyfire Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 Yeah both android and iOS has that monthly app update problem. very few games and apps have updates once every 6 months type.
Heatman Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 Yeah - Some of them even ask for updates even before a month time gap. Sometimes, I don't given to that crap unless the update is very important.
skyfire Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 That's why I feel Microsoft launcher is pretty good as they have decent launcher updates not so frequent and only when needed.
Heatman Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 Seriously - I believe that updates should only be done when something really important is needed and not simply because they feel like it.
skyfire Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 But that would make many android and iOS developers job less if they update only every 6 months. lol.
Heatman Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 I'm not sure if it's going to because Microsoft developers aren't all jobless already because they update once in 6 months.
killamch89 Posted September 10, 2021 Author Posted September 10, 2021 Just as a quick update: Nova Launcher 7 is out.

I'm literally trying to figure out what to do with all these options...
skyfire Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Looks neat, and kind of works most of the features like the microsoft launcher too.

There are even more options than what's shown in the video. Nova Launcher is still the standard for android launchers and I can't see any of them uprooting it.

With other launchers that I have used compared to Nova, the latter is way better.
