StaceyPowers Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 When you are playing a game that does NOT feature an open world, do you like open level design, or do you prefer it to be more enclosed and linear? I prefer the latter, because if levels are too open but the game itself is linear, if you do things in the wrong order by mistake, sometimes you miss content.

It depends on the game and how the mechanics work but I can't outright say I prefer one over the other.
Heatman Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Well, I'd prefer a game to stick to exactly what it's supposed to be. If it's open world game, let it have its features completely and vice versa.
Head_Hunter Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 A game that represents it's true value it's what gamers love to play. And not cosplaying another thing and the gameplay looking so weird differently.
