StaceyPowers Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 So, I turned on my PS5 last night, and it showed the logo, and then the gray screen with the light beams, and then … nothing. It just sat there. I thought at first it was totally frozen. But the bottom menu still showed up. I tried switching accounts, and then everything showed up like normal. I switched back to my account, and everything was normal again. I can’t find reference to this bug anywhere. Anyone know what happened or how to prevent it in the future?

Heatman Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 From your explanation, it's most likely not going be a bug but a factory fault. Try and reach out to customers care to see the possibility of having it returned and replaced.
Head_Hunter Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 Hmm, that's a glitch in the console. Their is no fault, you can simply complain to the vendor where you bought it, explaining what took place in your PS5 console and see what he or she will say.
