StaceyPowers Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Are you more likely to equip armor with great stats that is absolutely hideous, or armor with moderate stats that is nice to look at?
Shagger Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Stat's ultimately matter more to me, but I would consider something of a flaw if you have sacrifice aesthetics in exchange for better stats. There's no reason anyone should have to comprise, especially since so many games offer options to wear armor and weapons as "skins" to sit on other items. Tales of Arise come to mind as an example of such a system. The there's the Assassins Creed Origins approach where you can upgrade old armours to a higher level so they can still be gameplay effective. That's a great way to keep old "epic" alive in the game.
Kane99 Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 I go with what the best armor is, so stats for sure. If I am upgraded enough, maybe I'll go with style over stats. But yeah, usually stats.
Boblee Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 I don't think that any gamer who understands the importance of armor would choose anything short of better stats when it comes to the kind of armor he or she wants.
