What games feature some of the most bizarre and unexpected turns of events?

As an example, I just finished the Shivering Isles DLC in Oblivion. I never in a million years could have guessed when I first started playing Oblivion that that would be the ultimate fate of the hero of Kvatch (so amazing though).

Yeah, basically become Sheogorath himself was a twist I didn't expected either. I know mantling a God in the Elder Scrolls results in you taking on their powers and consciousness but I wonder if there's any way to reverse the process.

I think some of the most surprising events that can ever occur in a game are those that happen in Dwarf Fortress. But that lead me to stop playing right away and that's all I can remember to why I do not even know.

The game that comes to mind, is one I never even played, but it was a game I watched a full playthrough of. That game being Deadly Premonition. That game was wild, from the odd story to the odd characters and boss fights. I couldn't believe what I was watching as it unfolded. It by far fits the subject at hand, it was bizarre and really unexpected. 

Other games out there, I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are a few I'm forgetting. Deadly Premonition is the main one that comes to mind for me though.

The Shivering Isles twist is unforgettable! I’d also recommend **Undertale** and **Bioshock** for their shocking plot twists and unique storytelling.
