Video games is effective in improving hand-eye coordination.

Games require quick and precise movement of the hands, hence this increases coordination of the senses involved and fine motor skills. It can improve your reaction time to situations and help you make split second decisions. 
 

I have particularly noticed this, my crafts and handwork skills are actually better after I have exerted myself in my favorite games.

I would agree. Also boys have much better hand/eye coordination than girls do. It comes from all those years of reading Playboy.

I completely agree. There’s been many studies and research into this! And, gaming can even improve reaction time which may benefit you later on in life if you want to start driving a car or motorcycle for example.

Playing video games has been proven to help with hand eye co-ordination and also help build up reaction times. The skills that you build up whilst playing video games can help you greatly later on in life.

And that is largely due to the fact that boys play games a lot more than girls. It keeps your vital senses active and engaged, which strengthens your coordination. 
Hence most of what gamers engage in seems to yield positive results.

Yes of course, I completely agree with you on this. It's with both your eyes and hands that all video games are played. So, by doing that often, it will surely enhance one's hand/eye coordination.

Absolutely! Gaming really sharpens hand-eye coordination and reaction times. I’ve noticed my focus improves in other activities too. It's impressive!
