Ravenfreak Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 I didn't burn CDs that often because back in the day I didn't have a computer. I remember going over to a few of my friends houses who did have computers and watching them burn mix cds. I had a friend back in the day give me a burned copy of Green Day's American Idiot, and I remember listening to it off and on growing up. I even found a burned Yellowcard Ocean Avenue CD once in the field down the street from my house when I was a teenager. It barely played though since it was super scratched up. :V killamch89 1

I used to give them to my friends all the time and I even had some special ones for certain occasions like a friend's birthday or playing it in the car while out on a date. Good times for sure!
The Blackangel Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 I still burn CD's. But I miss the days of missing the first couple words while you hit record to tape a song off the radio. Having a hundred blank cassettes that were all full of songs taped off the radio. Ninety of them having the same songs over and over.

I remember that as well. the worst part about cassettes is that you might not remember if you taped a song on one and didn't remember to tag it and you tape another song n it. That used to annoy me so much.
Debashis Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Yes, I remember burning CDs. I used to burn games like GTA Vice City, San Andreas into blank CDs and give to my friends. I also even used to sell some lol.

I used to have tons of CDs in a case holder.
Shortie Posted June 23, 2024 Posted June 23, 2024 I remember burning CDs very well! I used to spend hours downloading mp3s to my computer through Napster and then making playlists and burning them to a CD. I have always been someone who has been picky when it comes to albums, most of the time I would buy an album and some of the songs on the album I would never listen to, it made more sense to make playlists of my favourite songs and burn them to a CD. killamch89 1

Same here - most albums, I usually like one or two songs off it so burning CDs made sense to me. On another note, I forgot about Napster because I used to use that and Limewire to get the songs.
