Ever attended a sports event that ended in violence?

Attending live games is fun, and that is mostly when such events end on a good note. Have you attended any of those events where they ended up having to fight at the end of the day, maybe between fans?

I've been at a few where there were some scuffles but nothing major enough to completely call off the game.

No, but I went to see Hearts playing in Edinburgh. My sister's boyfriend began shouting abuse at a player, because they lost a match.

I know of plenty of people who are like that unfortunately.

A few. I’m a hockey fan, and we fight more than the athletes on the ice do. There was one event a few years ago that was an attempted murder. I don’t remember wht two teams were playing, but one guy was so pissed that his team lost, that he literally tried to run fans of the team that won over with his car.

I’ve been attacked for rooting for a team that some asshole didn’t like. He couldn’t handle the fact that not everyone likes his team. It’s a bit of a story, and I’m on my phone right now and it would take forever to get it all typed out.
