Have you ever thrown axes before?

Do you know how to throw axes? I only know how to use axes to chop firewoods but never how to throw them. I've seen it done in movies but never understand how it's done. It's only darts 🎯 I know how to throw.

Nope but it looks like a very niche hobby. The most I've learnt is to throw a dagger but that's not something I practice regular nowadays.

Yeah I’ve thrown axes in the distant past. I haven’t done it in years. These days all I know how to throw properly is throwing stars of any kind.

I have never had any use for an axe so have never used one at all. I have seen many times people who take part in axe throwing and the amount of skill it seems to take is amazing!

I have also seen on talent shows those who throw axes whilst someone is sat in front of the target board. They are always nerve-wracking to watch.

It does take some practice and a bit of luck, but learning it is actually easier than you might think. Oddly enough, I've never been able to throw a knife.
