StaceyPowers Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Which video games do you think have the best dialogue, in terms of being compelling, natural, consistent and entertaining? I have been really impressed by the dialogue in both The Last of Us and Dragon Age: Origins.

MegaphoneStallone Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 I think I need to find/play Grim Fandango... I remember hearing a lot about it around 2000, so maybe it's time. Anyway @Alyxx stole my answer. It was The Curse of Monkey Island. Escape From Monkey Island is good as well. Alyxx 1

Yeah you need to play it. It actually has a lot of humor to it even if it is a somewhat serious game.

Joant73 Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 (edited) This may not totally qualify as it is more monologue than dialogue. But Wheatley in Portal 2 really makes that game, the humor and general vibe of him is perfect and I don't think the game would be anywhere near as compelling without him.
