killamch89 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 How often do you visit the doctor for a medical check-up? Is it something you do as a preventative method or do you currently have an illness you are struggling with? Is it something you look forward to?
mont86 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 No I don't, probably should.. Always afraid of getting bad news I guess.

I do it once a year as a routine but I can understand your dread. It's better to know beforehand though so that you have a chance of completely reversing any ill-effects.
mont86 Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 I do get yearly check ups, but always dread it . lol
UleTheVee Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 I like going to the doctor every once in a while.

Alyxx Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 I do it once every year as a routine just to get an idea of where my health is at.

My dad used to be extremely health up until a couple years ago and then his health has been going downhill ever since. Alyxx 1
Alexander. Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 (edited) I go for a full health check at my local GP (general practitioner) once every month, possibly more depending on the situation and if I'm feeling unwell. The national health service (NHS) pay's for it so I'm not left in financial difficulty from medical expenses. Rather than being terrified, I like going to check up appointments as prevention is better than cure. Edited January 28, 2019 by xXInfectedXx

I agree that prevention is better than cure but I feel like if I went every month, I would be wasting the doctor's time.
