Alexander. Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 (edited) Do you ever get headaches whilst staring at screen for pro longed periods of time? What home remedy works best for you? This morning, I have more of an annoying headache than anything under my eye. What would you suggest for me? I can't find any pain killers in the room to deal with it. Any suggestions? StaceyPowers Posted January 26, 2019 Posted January 26, 2019 This could be an issue with eye strain, or it could have something to do with posture/muscle tension/cervicogenic issues. Where do you typically feel the pain?
Cleopatra92 Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 The only time that gaming specifically causes me a headache is trying to do it in the dark. If I just have a little bit of light in the room I'm good. Idk if that helps though lol
DarthHazard Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 I don't play for a long hours during each gaming session so I have never really experienced any headaches. I also wear glasses whilst gaming so no problems for me regards to that. However, there are times where I get headaches when playing certain games. For some reason, Fortnite Save the World and Far Cry 5 were the only games I had issues with for that.
killamch89 Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 When I was younger, I did get them from time to time but I haven't had that issue in years. A piece of advice I can give you is to take a break every hour during your gaming session and just get and go get some water/snacks/whatever for 5 mins and then resume. At least, that's what I usually do.
