WIndows 10 does that all the time, even if you think it's disable to not to be running and still does. But I never have it running when not being used. When the PC is running and fans are spinning it collects dust.
skyfire Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Yeah at the most you can do is show the idle hours in the settings and they keep you not disturbed during that but they do update at night if we use it or not.

skyfire Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 I think that is a good approach. Keeping it on is not only burning the light but also kind of make it difficult with the device going on download mode in the background.
Empire Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Seems that people have it on more and on idle then fully off. I'm always having my PC on and off allot 😛 wounder it will make it die my clicking it off and on 3 times or less a day. It's like I turn it on for 2 hours then off afterwards.

skyfire Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Yeah that mode is hibernation which is embed in the Windows. And you can enable and disable that mode through registery editing too.
Empire Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 If you use your computer more than once a day, leave it on at least all day, If you use it in the morning and at night, you can leave it on overnight as well. If you use your computer for only a few hours once a day, or less often, turn it off when you are done.
skyfire Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I kind of use more laptop so I keep it off once the work is done. This way I can use it for longer period too. I know for sure that turning off PC is kind of necessary especially if there is too much heat.

Gotta be very load? Also, no idea if others do the same, leave there PC on for hours at night or day leaving a game or something running, building up the hours while you not on your PC, anyone did that?
skyfire Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 I remember doing the mining in past but now a days I can't afford to spend the money on electricity bills. So just spend the money wisely. I can tell you internet in past used to be liberal here but not much so lately.
