Alexander. Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Are you a game beta tester? Do you know anyone who is and gets paid for it? I've heard being a Beta tester is good money. Testing games is a good use of your time if you enjoying gaming!
skyfire Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 I have tried the uTest website and tried some of the games for the test. I don't think it's worth it if you don't get paid. I wish to get paid for my time be it test or survey and not all can do that.
The Blackangel Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 The group I work with all tests our own games ourselves. I’m a thinker on subject matter. Since I’m an amateur author, I bring a strong imagination to the table. As for programming I’m useless. No clue how to do any of that. And I’ve got too short a temper for the testing, so I stick to the idea part.
skyfire Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 I wonder if the big studios have external influencers as tester? I mean those youtube creators who can be possible game testers.
killamch89 Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 I know of a couple of companies but their qualification tests are ridiculously difficult. Even as someone who has been gaming for over 2 decades close to 3, I have a big difficulty answer most of those questions.

The bigger Youtubers are used for promotional/PR marketing than anything else. They know that most of them aren't really good at gaming at all but want to use the Youtubers to get access to their fanbase.
