DC Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 @The Blackangel What’s the most awkward thing that happens to you on a regular basis?
The Blackangel Posted May 5, 2019 Author Posted May 5, 2019 I would have to say my speech problem. Somehow the wires are crossed between my brain and mouth. I will be trying to talk about something and a word that has no relation whatsoever will come out. Like I could be talking to someone about our favorite books and I'll say something like "yeah the last pizza I read..." Then I catch what just got said. Then I spend the rest of the day so pissed off I'm more than willing to kill the next person who just looks in my general direction. You may call it awkward, but I call it enraging since it happens several times daily.

The Blackangel Posted May 6, 2019 Author Posted May 6, 2019 There's a building on the University of Missouri campus called Memorial Union that looks like a 15th century cathedral. Living dead center of the U.S., there's not a lot of gothic architecture to see. And with me being on disability, I can't really afford to travel except for the rare occurrence. But when I travel it's always limited to a state that borders Missouri.

It also happens more when I'm typing than talking. Like I thanked a person once for "planets" instead of "topics" for a work assignment. I did this because I'd been writing about a planet that day, and it was still on my mind. I think that if one has a lot of branching thoughts, this sort of thing may happen a good deal. 1 On 5/5/2019 at 5:22 PM, The Blackangel said: There's a building on the University of Missouri campus called Memorial Union that looks like a 15th century cathedral. It was located nowhere near any metro stops, unfortunately. Since I didn't have a car, there was no easy way to get there. I once walked like 10 miles or more just to visit it. The architecture felt like "home" to me.
DC Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 @The Blackangel If you had to spend $10,000 today, how would you spend it?
The Blackangel Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 @DC I would take some friends who have become family to a car lot to get them a reliable car since theirs is about to completely crap out on them. StaceyPowers 1
The Blackangel Posted July 14, 2019 Author Posted July 14, 2019 (edited) Depends. Are you looking for specifics for a certain situation or mood, or something that encompasses everything? If it’s something that encompasses everything, then look no further than a white pit bull named Lady. Edited March 14, 2023 by The Blackangel DC 1
The Blackangel Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 Back when I was able to walk, it was ALWAYS music. I’ve never really been much entertained by podcasts. I’ve thought it might be fun to do a podcast, but listening to them bores me.
DC Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 @The Blackangel What's your favorite memory of a family member?
The Blackangel Posted August 4, 2019 Author Posted August 4, 2019 (edited) Due to being beaten daily, that would be when day my sperm donor (aka father) died. Edited August 4, 2019 by The Blackangel
StaceyPowers Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Best TV show or film you've watched this year?

It makes me anxious for professional reasons, because I am always afraid that these errors will slip past me at work.
