StaceyPowers Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 @The Blackangel was talking here about franchises with a LOT of titles, particularly those where publishers just seem to want to make as much money as possible off of their favorite cash cows. Anyway, are there any series of that nature anyone here feels is exceptional in some way, and honestly has mostly great games?
kingpotato Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 Well it depends, for example there a lot of Mario games, most are fun and Nintendo has reinvented the franchise many times with Mario 64, Mario Galaxy and Odyssey, same goes for Zelda with Ocarina and the Breath of the Wild. But there are other franchises that are basically the same each year, the formula is good but the changes are minimal like COD or Assassins creed.
