  2. Honestly, I've actually seen way more people piss and moan about the supposed backlash against the provocative character design in Stellar Blade than people actually complaining about the provocative character design in Stellar Blade itself, even amongst press articles. I'm sure if one tried to find it one would find somebody complaining about it, it is the internet after all, but I don't think it's been that big of a deal. It's certainly no reason to worry about censorship in GTA, an entirely different game series that has no relation to Stellar Blade in any way and is obviously catered to adults as well is being infamously provocative and controversial in concept. Not to mention that nothing in Stellar Blade has even changed as a result of this "backlash". In other words, nobody is taking away your tits and ass, and they couldn't if they wanted to, so calm the fuck down.
  3. I remember the announcement and empty void of nobody caring that followed. Not exactly sad to see it cancelled.
  4. Ubisoft has decided to cancel the upcoming Division Heartland game. I didn't even know that this game was announced back in 2021, but I guess it's been in the works since then. It was also their attempt to make their own free-to-play game in the series. Me thinks a live service game most likely. Ubisoft will instead put their resources into the upcoming XDefiant free-to-play game, and some to Rainbow Six Siege. The good news for Division fans, is that Ubisoft still looks to be working on a Division 3. Read more on this news here: https://mp1st.com/news/the-division-heartland-officially-cancelled
  5. Activision has opened up a new studio in Poland called Elsewhere Entertainment. Their intent is to make narrative driven/ genre defying AAA franchises, and thankfully it won't have anything to do with COD. The studio has talent who were involved in games like The Last of Us, Uncharted, The Witcher, Cyberpunk, Destiny, The Division, and Far Cry. So you got a wide array of talent here. On the plus side, they're also looking to bring in more developers. It's kind of good news with all the recent layoffs and closures going on. Even though Activision Blizzard had layoffs recently, same with Xbox and I believe a few other studios/companies did too. And you can't forget Microsoft outright closing down studios as of late. I hope with this, we see some more studios pop up. Hopefully from Microsoft's side, and hopefully bringing in the many who were laid off this past year. 7. I started with either the Atari 2600 or Colecovision. It's been so damn long that I honestly don't remember which one I played on first.
  8. Probably never gonna be possible but this would be cool to see. Also, I play the shit out of this game on my Switch.
  9. Is anyone else watching the playoffs? It's been a pretty good run so far. If you want my opinion, I see Boston taking home another Stanley Cup. That is unless Vancouver takes over Edmonton. Then I can't say who the victor will be. But it's gonna be a hell of a competition, that's for sure!
  10. We're going to pick up the macaw this weekend. I'm thinking of getting a Rottweiler along with my pitbulls. I have the pits. I just need to come up with the money for the rott puppy. Here's the 2 pitbulls we have.
  11. English was my best subject. I loved the course curriculum. My worst was probably math. I still remember when I was in 6th grade my literal math score was 2% out of 100%. That's a hell of an F on your report card. Fractions were killing me. Also the teacher would give us sheets with the simplest math on it. Things like 3x8 and there would be like 50 of those. I always failed because I would get mixed up and start adding or subtracting. She mixed it up with some being multiplication, others addition, and some were subtraction. Four or five problems in I would get mixed up and start doing the wrong thing. Science wasn't bad for me. Biology sucked, but general science wasn't bad. Then again, in high school I tended to sleep through class. Until I dropped out, that is.
  12. Covid is one. I've had pneumonia several times. I don't know if it counts, but I've had food poisoning too. Like most kids I had chicken pox when I was young.
  13. Sudden unexplained disconnect and lack of interest in their partner. Usually means the person is cheating. If they're cheating, then how much you may have loved them is irrelevant. Get out. Your partner isn't worthy of you if they're cheating on you.
  14. Source - https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2024/05/14/xbox-360-price-reductions-available-now/ Since we all know the Xbox 360's store is closing down in July, you don't have much time left to pick up the digital games only available on the 360. Xbox is taking the opportunity to do a sale on Xbox 360 games up until the date they close up shop. There are some good deals here. There looks to be 66 games on sale right now, hopefully more to come. Some games are as low as $0.99, with Sniper Ghost Warrior being the cheapest at only $0.69. It sucks that the store is officially closing soon, but it's nice to see them putting up a sale. The link above lists out all the games available for sale. Clicking on them will bring you to their Xbox store.
  15. A log cabin. Only 4 walls, a roof, and a fireplace. No electricity. No plumbing. It doesn't even need a floor. I want a table, a chair, a bed, and a nightstand beside the bed. The silence and stillness is absolute heaven. I could live happily there for the rest of my life. Maybe someday I'll get my cabin.
  16. If we're talking precious and semiprecious gem stones, I really like my birthstone which is garnet. I love the deep blood red that many specimens have. Now if we're talking in general, my absolute favorite stone is hematite. It can look like perfect steel if polished right, and can be magnetically charged, which I have never seen done with any other stone. I have several hematite stones around here. Somewhere I have a raw hematite. For those wondering, that means it's not polished or worked on in any way.
  17. The new Assassin's Creed Shadows has been revealed. It will be dropping this November. Sadly there was no gameplay to see, it's all cinematic, but the story does sound interesting. This one taking place in Japan and looks to be a two protagonist game. I assume you can take control of both characters. Who here is going to pick it up when it releases? I'm honestly kind of beat from playing AC all these years, haven't even touched a couple of the last ones, but I might change that with this one.
  18. More like a 2000+ pound animal. No rodeo bulls weigh anything less.
  19. A girl I worked with at Pizza Hut (20+ years ago) fell madly in love with me. I was good friends with the manager and her husband, and this girl would call their house to see if I was there. If I was there, she was in her car racing to their place. I could have made a move any time I wanted. While she was cute as hell, I just never made that move on her.
  20. A three way tie between Friends, Brooklyn 99 and Red Dwarf for me. I tend to lean towards comedies that on paper should not work and those are three great examples of shows that had no right to be as funny as they were.
  21. This is the best topic ever!!!!! 1st, I collect mineral specimens and have gorgeous gemstones. This sounds ridiculous, but my all time favorite stone is pyrite, also known as fools gold. The reason is because it’s crystal structure is cubic, perfect cubes growing within another cube. I have a giant 2.5 inch cubic flawless pyrite with sharp edges. So amazing. I have pyrite necklaces and have about 20 different pyrite specimens. Sometimes the cubes are flattened naturally in mine on black slate and it looks like a golden flower. Pyrite is so amazing despite the funny name of fools gold, because many times it’s golden and shiny looking like gold. The best pyrite cubes are found in Spain, the same region in Spain my ancestors are from. There are so many types of stones I love though. Lapis Lazuli has beautiful deep blues which are so therapeutic to look at. It grows often with pyrite, giving golden flakes in beautiful deep blue. Opals are awesome reflecting so many different colors because it’s chemical formula is silica with H2O. I have the most beautiful large Citrine gemstone. The orange color will put you in a trans. I can go on and on. Galena is another I love. It’s cubic properties are similar to pyrite, but shiny silver instead. Galena is made from lead.
  22. This is a good one. Back in the day when cordless phones 1st came out, we had a phone for the main family area and my parents had their separate phone line in their room. I was on the phone talking to my friend and I picked up a phone conversation from my step father and he was cheating on my mother. He also said bad things about me and kept putting me down. Can’t believe we lived in the same house. But I had tell to break the bad news to my mom and they got a divorce. I’m glad I kicked his ass. But I went to jail for it and the cops kicked my ass in jail.
