  1. I think the last game I bought was from a used bookstore in Manassas, VA.
  2. I think it's hard to notice all the signs and banners in Twisted Metal games.
  3. I couldn't even get thirty seconds through Crash Bandicoot due to the timing of jumps.
  4. I've got two pieces of Testarossa die-cast from when I was a little kid. I'll try to always keep both.
  5. I still sometimes wonder what my life would have been like if I hadn't played video games ever and had just read, drew, built model cars and faced my friends in backyard sports as a kid. Would it have been like the childhood of Kevin Arnold from The Wonder Years? I don't know.
  6. I'll usually play a game right when I get it home, unless a relative is visiting or chores need to get done.
  7. I was pretty addicted to gaming in my early 20's, but not so much now. I didn't get therapy, but I was just tired of how my parents were looking at me.
  8. Having to get all the licenses again if I'm replaying a GT game. Procedural memory should help a bit though.
  9. When I was 13 I saw a girl I liked swearing up a storm because she was losing at a game. How she didn't get tossed from that Toys 'R Us is a mystery to me.
  10. I'm going to bring up a quantum leap in game quality. GT3 was far better than GT2. The graphics were sharper and cleaner and the cars raced better.
  11. Heatman, you really ought to collect the top Buick Regal race cars of 1981 and '82. I'm normally a Chevy guy, but Buick is GM too and these cars won a lot of races in the hands of drivers like Darrell Waltrip, Bobby Allison, Richard Petty and Cale Yarborough. They had nice styling line too.
  12. Either driving a race car, driving a combat car (Twisted Metal), or playing basketball.
  13. I have four PlayStations. I have a PS1 that dates back to September '97 in terms of build date, but I got it as an early Christmas present that year. I've got a PS2 that I've had for about 20 years now and it still works. I have a PS3 that I just got working again after 6 years of it being messed up and I've got the PS3 that replaced the one I thought was broken for good, so now I have four PlayStations that work.
  14. If I was going to swear something off forever it would be either Twisted Metal 3 or Andretti Racing. I'm a hardcore gear-head and I think that these two games really don't get driving close enough to right.
  15. Twisted Metal Small Brawl and NBA Live '03.
  16. Tundra still hasn't surpassed Ford F-Series in sales yet, so Detroit does have that going for it.
  17. He won two titles though and he almost won the 1990 Daytona 500.
  18. I still am looking for some Corvair die-cast though. Thanks for complimenting my collection.
  19. I also wish I had gotten those Black Sabbath trading cards when I saw them, mind you I don't order stuff, so I either have to see it in stores, or I don't get it.
  20. Terry Labonte I believe had 22 NASCAR Cup Series wins. I think that he was better than his record if he could have got to Hendrick Motorsports sooner, I think he's solidly a top 50 all time driver.
  21. Thanks Heatman. One thing that video illustrates besides parallel parking is the Japanese car domination of the U.S. market. If only there had been better Ford Pintos and Chevy Vegas in the '70's, people would have just remained loyal to Ford and GM.
  22. I am. I don't think I've ever lost a trading card. I've lost toy cars on the playground, but most of them weren't that great. I did lose a couple of Majorette Cadillac limos. I'm kicking myself over losing them, but that was like 29 years ago when I was 8. The one thing I regret never getting as a kid would be a Larry Bird or Kevin McHale action figure.
