I play NASCAR '99 sometimes for old time sake, but I'm way more into GT games.

I can't think of a racing game that had passenger cars in it before GT other than Cruisin' U.S.A.

I believe you're right about Gran Turismo. I can't think of a game that was like it before it.

I kept trading the race lead with a friend in NASCAR '99 I believe in 2000. It was a really high speed battle for position at Talladega, AL.

I don't care how much someone posts, unless it's like a thousand a day.

In NASCAR it's not about mods, it's about car setup.

Some of the story lines were depressing, like a teen girl whose friend died and now for some reason the Twisted Metal tourney will give the remaining girl purpose. I don't get it. I also didn't get why one guy had to have a bunch of his face sewn shut.

I was originally from the New England region, which includes Massachusetts and us New Englanders usually love sports, but to each his own.

I'm saving up to get out of Virginia or move to a part of it that's worth emulating.

But I hate my region's culture so much that I'm trying to keep as much of my old New England identity as possible. Plus I don't like Rap that much.

I'll take a break from GT for the next few days and go back to NBA Live '03. I love '03 so much because Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce had an 89 overall rating that year, it's the highest I remember him having and he's one of my all-time favorite players.

One had kind of a wilderness like Tail of the Dragon look to it. It looked kind of like Watkins Glen, NY circa 1951.

I've seen my brother play it, I just forget which Need For Speed it is.

I might play GT6 today. I like to start off with a Chevy win, another superstition I have and then sample the rest of the worlds fine automobiles.

I got it years later though. As a former New Englander I feel so much pride in almost every Boston album.
