  1. I saw some gameplay of it, and it looks scary good. The gameplay I saw was alpha and looked weird, but hopefully they fixed that before release. Anyway, it kind of reminds me of a mix of RE7 with The Evil Within. I might have to get it for a Halloween stream one of these nights. 😄
  2. I have an update, so I do have a game in my collection that seems to be somewhat rare. I have the PS1 version of a game called In the Hunt. I made a topic here about the game. 👉 Here. I'm not able to find anywhere selling the game aside from Ebay, which has the same exact copy I do, going for $459.99 here. Mine looks to be in similar shape, but does have some markings and scratches, and portion of the cardboard is coming off. I decided to check the two other long box PS1 games I have, Agile Warrior F-IIIX and Warhawk, but they aren't worth much. But In The Hunt, in the long box at least, seems to be quite rare. While the jewel case is also going for like $200 or so. I also noticed some people just selling the disc for like $100+. Wish more of my games were this rare.

    In The Hunt

Does anyone here remember this game? It came out on the PS1, Sega Saturn, PC and arcades back in 1993 and again around 1995/1997 (Saturn,PC/PS1). I had the PS1 version in the big case as a kid. I remember having a blast playing this game. It got really tough though and I never finished it. I still have it in my collection too. Maybe one of these days I'll finally complete it. Anyway, from what I remember, you play as a submarine that can shoot projectiles such as missiles. You can shoot up, down, backwards (i think a powerup) and forward. There can be a lot going on at once in this game, but it's such a blast to play. On a whim, I decided to look into what this game was worth, and it's going for like $200-$400 used, but complete. My goodness, I found the rare game I own. 😄
  4. You know how with Nintendo Online, you get NES and SNES games included. Do you think N64 and GameCube will be included in options like this? So a section just for N64 and GameCube, where you can go in and play a group of popular games on each console. They could easily do something like this, and it would certainly draw me in more, as I have wanted to get myself a switch forever now. I'd even like them to add options for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Advance. Hell, while we're here, maybe even sections for DS/3DS games, because that'd be awesome on the Switch. Unless they already have something like that? I know they have the marketplace where I imagine some of their popular games can be purchased, but I'm speaking in terms of what online offers you with NES/SNES games. It could work for other Nintendo consoles. Maybe add paid tiers for N64/GC, and even the handheld consoles.
  5. I don't get why character customization for a lot of games feels lacking. I just want a game where I can make my guy look almost identical to me. So, It got me thinking, why don't more games do what NBA 2K/WWE 2K series does with their custom face uploader? In those games, you can upload your face and put it on a custom character. Of course the results aren't great by any means, but it's a start for sure. I'd love to be able to upload my real face, put it on a character that looks like me, and then play in that world as me. It'd be so cool. But, most games these days limit it to skinny avatars or some with just a little weight. What if I want a fatter dude running around in RDR2? We're at a point in gaming, that devs could easily find a way to input a players face. I imagine with next gen, face models are going to look brilliant. I just wish they would give us better character customization for more games.
  6. According to a post on Twitter from DOMO Capital Management, the recent deal Microsoft made with Gamestop, will draw a portion of revenue from Xbox digital sales into Gamestops pockets. As well, someone asked this group on Twitter, would Gamestop get sales from all digital games or just consoles sold from Gamestop, and according to what DOMO said, it looks like they will only gain profit if you purchased the Xbox from a gamestop store. So if you got an Xbox elsewhere, Gamestop gets no cut. At least that's how I see it. You can read more on this below:
  7. The newest PS4 firmware update, simply titled 8.00, is causing some issues for PS4 owners. Some gamers are saying they're getting error code WS-44369-6, which has been mass reported to the PS4 reddit page since. Supposedly, the issues people are having is mostly with their friends list and party chat options. Others are reporting slowdowns and crashes. With some also saying the PS4 takes longer to shut down and restart. Has this update caused you any issues? Are you waiting until this is sorted before updating? Read more about these issues here - MP1ST
  8. Yeah it's very confusing to consumers. Especially when it comes to parents, grand parents, etc. They're not going to know the difference between an Xbox One X and an Xbox Series X. I bet stores are going to see a lot of returns after the Holiday season lol. They should have just called it the New Xbox and be done with it. Or just Xbox. Or idk, go with the actual code names some of the consoles get. What was the Series X code name? Project Scarlet or something? If so, just call it the Xbox Scarlet or something. It rolls off the tongue better than series x and certainly won't confuse consumers.
  9. Did you know Apple tried their hand at making a console already in the mid 90s? I can see them trying again, but I don't know if they would try it anytime soon. Plus, their iPhones, iPads, and Macs make them enough money, so they really don't have to.
  10. Yeah, I agree on that. I haven't played it much as of late, and I haven't heard a whole lot about it in recent weeks. But, they recently added an update, so it's starting to get some traction again.
  11. Ah this looks adorable. I never played anything in the Disgaea series, but this looks like something I'd be into playing for sure. Sadly, no switch yet, but soon enough I'll have one and can try out all of the great games I've been missing out on.
  12. I imagine that would be coming out for both the PC and mobile versions of the game. It's very likely the DLC that's being spoken for, is a patch that the devs want to make to update the game a bit. I don't see it costing gamers any money, but I could be wrong of course.
  13. Remember when fast food joints or brands like pepsi had their own video games? Like Burger King with their lineup of games during the Xbox 360 release. Like Sneak King, that kart racer and I forget what the other was. Anyway, McDonalds had their own game with McKids I think. So, why is it that more companies haven't done their own games? As campy as it is, I think it's cool when companies like Burger King decide to release free or cheap games with their meals. It gives gamers some extra games to collect, and who knows, maybe they'll be worth something in the next 20 years lol.
  14. Interesting. I don't recall many great games from them. They did Crackdown 2 and 3 and most recently a game called RADtv. Rockstar purchased the studio and renamed them to Rockstar Dundee, as they're based in Dundee Scotland. What do you think will come out of this studio for future Rockstar titles? 15. This is decent. Even though I'm not a fan of Gamestop by any means, I respect that they sometimes have pretty decent sales. They're currently running a sale, where you can buy two pre-owned games and get two pre-owned games in return for free. Not a bad deal. Check out all of the games available in this sale below. Gamestop buy two get two sale
  16. Yeah that design is not great, that's for sure. They claim it was so heat can be dispersed easier, but I'm sure they could have figured out a better solution. Then again, the PS5 isn't too far behind it imo. That thing is going to take up a ton of space. These new consoles are going to be tough to place around your tvs. And yeah, the exclusives also going on PC is kind of annoying, but the Series X doesn't necessarily need them to survive. They will have backwards compatibility plus game pass, which is what they're main focus seems to be on these days anyway.
  17. True. I'm not saying right away though, maybe sometime down the line. Microsoft has closed many studios before, of course none as big as Bethesda, but we don't know how things will be in the next few years. Anything could happen.
  18. Has anyone heard or played of this game yet? It's been blowing up on Twitch and YouTube as of late and I have been considering buying it for the Halloween season. Anyway, it's a 4 player co-op game where you essentially play ghost hunters. You can die though and become a ghost yourself. I haven't watched too much on the game yet, but it does look kind of fun. You can find it on steam below https://store.steampowered.com/app/739630/Phasmophobia/ As well, here's a little trailer to hold ya over:
  19. We all know Microsoft bought up Bethesda recently for quite a bit. When it happened, I was kind of psyched about it, but looking at it now, I am somewhat worried. I know Bethesda is in good standing, and has many games planned, but could MS at some point decide to shut them down like other studios? The big reason I don't think that will happen, is because of how big Bethesda is. But, don't count out Microsoft, because they could easily close a studio down whenever they please. But I hope they don't do that with Bethesda or any other studio they own for that matter, because right now, MS needs the games.
  20. Does anyone here ever play rhythm games? I used to play DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) years ago to help me lose weight. And it did help for a while. I don't really play the game much these days though, as the dance mat I got recently stopped working. 😞 And mats are starting to get more costly these days. Anyway, what are some of the rhythm games you remember playing? What are some of your favorites?
  21. My nephew has been playing Alan Wake since I got him into it last weekend. It got me thinking though, the game is looking a bit old in some places, so wouldn't it be cool if they did a remaster of Alan Wake? Imagine if they brought it out on new gen consoles with ray tracing and better lighting. That would look like a pretty game I bet. Anyway, I think for the most part, they wouldn't have to do much to get it to work. What do you guys think? Would you like to see an Alan Wake remastered released?
  22. If you got a copy of the Japanese SourceNext PC version of Dino Crisis, well you can now download a patch to include updated graphics and enhanced AI. This patch is called Dino Crisis Rebirth. I'm not sure if this works with an PC version in the US, but maybe they will make one for us. Or maybe we can figure out how to get the Japanese version to take advantage of this patch. Anyway, read more about his at the article below. DSO Gaming
  23. I think RE7 can be considered a contender for the best ever, mainly because it reinvigorated a dying franchise. RE6 wasn't well received by critics or fans, and RE7 blew away people's expectations. Now Capcom is doing their remasters and bringing classic RE games back to the new generation and fans too. Anyway, RE7 is up there for sure.
  24. You are correct, so any games by Nintendo I probably won't be able to stream. But third party released games on the NES should be fine. As long as it's not a Nintendo owned game, I believe I can stream it. I'll certainly look into PSP.
  25. I think the intention with those games was to be random, weird and offensive. Once it got press, it blew up. Otherwise I don't think this game would have made it very far. I think they actually used the negative press in their reviews as well, but I may be thinking of a different game. If they did, it's smart on their part.
