I've taken a few nasty spills on skateboards in my time. Managed to scrape my elbow and back pretty bad. Always knocks your confidence when you fall off. Takes a while to build your confidence back up after a bad fall skateboarding.

Silent Hill 2 and The Last Of Us hold a very special place in my heart. Both have phenomenal narratives that are deep and profound. They easily rival the best literature and movies imho.

I managed to play about half of it a long while back. It’s got a beautiful world and the story is well written (I think it’s written by Alex Garland who wrote The Beach and the movie Annihilation. Plus it’s also loosely based on Journey To The West, a Chinese novel). There was just something off about the character’s and overall art-style imho. The combat was decent but for some reason i bounced off it after 6 or 7 hours. It was pretty well received critically. Hopefully you enjoy it, dude. 🤞🏼

In Dragon’s Dogma you are given pawns that run around with you. They CONSTANTLY say the same obvious things like, “the path leads ahead”. Drove me bloody nuts after a while.
