Plus, there are loads of free downloadable zombie maps created by the COD/modding community on PC. I played a ton of cool community-made maps on PC a few years back.

I don't see a $20 jump happening since that would be an awfully dramatic increase, but I could definitely see a $10 jump. 
I would be totally okay with this if they in turn reduce the amount of "season pass" type content and release fuller games from the start. But I don't trust the industry to be honest enough to make that change. Publishers are greedy and will want to milk each release for everything they're worth. So if they're not going to change, I see no reason to pay more for the same stuff. Especially as graphics are plateauing and the differences in generations are becoming more and more marginal.

Elder Scrolls and Fallout have really cool music that really gets into my head. The former is really soothing and the latter is catchy af.

FPS's, RPG's, racing games and retro games.

I play a lot of different types of games but RPGs and open world action/adventure type games are the ones I get the most excited for.  I also play a lot of sports games, Fifa mostly but also Madden and The Show.

Man, I can totally relate, but the truth is game budgets are ballooning out of control and video games haven’t risen in price in-line with general inflation for a long time. It’s more of a matter of when not if, sadly.

There'll be 20 games in total. So far they've just announced Tekken 3, Ridge Racer, Jumping Flash(?) and Final Fantasy VII. What other games would you like to hear get announced? 

Unless it's a game I really, REALLY, 'oh my god I must HAVE IT' want, then definitely not. I'm poor and I can't afford to buy so many games.

I'm with you, in that I'm not hugely into watching streams of games. That said, I do occasionally watch a bit of a stream to see what a game is like, if I'm interested in buying it. I also read a few reviews and watch a few video reviews, as well. It helps to give me an informed buying decision.

Doom 2016 definitely has a kick ass opening. No messing around. As you said, it's straight to the point. Good choice!

As soon as I saw the topic title last of us popped into mind. Hands down.

Still haven't played Last Of Us but it sounds worth playing.
So far the best opening I've seen in a game is Doom 2016. Just straight to the point, kick demon ass.

Easy one for me, personally: The Last Of Us. I still show non-gamers the opening to that game to show how far our medium has come. Such an emotional opening and I still tear up when I play it.

Ha, nice question! The most memorable/funny glitch for me was in Skyrim.
A giant clobbered me and sent me flying up into the air for what seemed like forever.
Like, I don’t think I ever came down. Just kepy flying. Up and up. 😂
Suffice to say, I had to re-load my save.

Honestly, I think that’s what’s going to happen which is fine. I’m interested in how Sony will iterate on PSVR. I just don’t know if VR will still be popular next gen? And perhaps Sony may be spreading themselves too thin? They only have a finite amount of first-party devs and, frankly, I’d like them to *ideally* be working on games I’m more likely to play. I’m still on the fence whether I’ll buy VR again, personally. 

I bought a PSVR at launch and enjoyed my time with it. That said, I traded it in when I was broke, but I don't really miss it tbh. It's cool tech, but there just didn't seem to be a compelling piece of software to keep me coming back for more. Sales-wise PSVR doesn't seem to be doing super well and, frankly, I feel that Sony should perhaps re-focus on its strongest hand: home consoles.
What do you think? Would you like Sony to make a PS VR 2 or would you prefer the Japanese giant to simply focus on its consoles?

I know, right? The Thing is one of my favourite movies, so that's a big plus for Dead Space! I also love John Carpenter. Man, a Dead Space movie directed by John Carpenter would be a dream come true!
