  1. I forgot about CSGO. I sometimes play that on my laptop, but due to my laptop's low specs by the time I load into a game I miss the first round. That happens every time.
  2. Is anyone here a fan of the gaming series Football Manager? (previously known as Championship Manager) I haven't seen anyone discuss this on here but be cool to see if anyone else does play it. I'll be honest, I don't play any of the newer Football Manager games as they're too complex for my liking. I much prefer the older ones and I'm currently playing the 2011 version, managing my home town club of Gillingham. We are in League Two so 3 leagues below the Premiership. My aim is to make them the best team in the game... Going to take a while!
  3. I remember the first time I played I would summon people to help me for every boss. That includes Pinwheel who is notoriously easy! I spent hours waiting to summon for some bosses. Once I got familiar with the game it became almost a sin to summon people so I never did unless it was a NPC like Solaire.
  4. When I was still living with my parents I would wake up, play video games, only stopping for dinner, and then play until I fell asleep in the early hours of the next morning. Was probably like 15 hours a day every day of the week haha. I didn't have many friends and never got along with my parents. Nowadays as I work Monday to Friday I can only really play for more than a couple hours on the weekend, and even then, it's unlikely I play for more than say 5 hours a day.
  5. Whenever I have a fun save going on Football Manager I tend to think about it a lot. There's so much to think about from signing new players to seeing how the NPC teams are getting on.
  6. Super Mario 3D Land is a really fun game. Mario Kart 7 is good fun as well. The virtual console is full of gems as well. Pokémon Crystal is my favourite Pokémon game.
  7. Any of the Mario games. They are all fun.
  8. Haha. The same thing happened to my two friends. We all bought the game as we wanted a game that supported 3 players online. They both sold the game literally an hour later and I almost sold it, my strict parents wouldn't let me and I'm glad as it became my favourite game ever.
  9. Throughout the years I've spent so much money on Pokémon Go. I don't even want to think how much me and my wife have spent. One instance I remember buying two £50 play store cards after work and spent it all on Go. I don't even play anymore as I didn't like all the new changes. Learnt my lesson.
  10. The only Dark Souls game I haven't played is the 2nd one. I had the remastered on the Switch. I actually completed the game at Soul Level 1 and had a lot of fun doing PvP. I tend to sell games to make a little bit of quick money and wish I kept it. If I had a PS5 I would definitely buy Elden Ring and Demon Souls Remastered.
  11. I haven't. I have wanted to as RPG are some of my favourites (Dark Souls 1 is my favourite game ever) but have never got round to playing it, or Skyrim.
  12. I'm really into combat sports, so UFC and Boxing. I was a massive fan of football (soccer) growing up, but the older I got the less interested in it I became.
  13. My dad was in his 40's when I was born. Didn't get to do much with him growing up due to age and health issues. I always said at a young age I wanted to be a dad by the time I'm 25, even as a teenager I would say that and I was actually 25 when my son was born! Couldn't believe it.
  14. Currently Mario Kart 8. Previously Mario Odyssey... Wish I never sold that game.
  15. Yes. I recently bought Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on the Nintendo Switch. I was really looking forward to buying it and couldn't wait until pay day to play it. Not even 10 minutes into the first time playing it the game crashed twice! All the hype and excitement I had for the game has vanished now. I'll try get round to playing again but can't motivate myself at the moment.
  16. Mario Kart 8 on the Nintendo Switch. Online is a lot of fun.
  17. By old I mean 10+ years ago. For me; as my laptop can't handle newer games I mainly play games I grew up playing. Currently I'm playing: Football Manager 2011 - Specifically 2011 as it's my favourite game in the series and 2011 was also my last year in school, so I have a lot of memories reading about the game instead of preparing for my exams! 😂 Left 4 Dead 2 - On Steam this game is still extremely popular and always in the top 50 most played games. It's a great game that I first played on the Xbox 360. Only down side is my laptop's video RAM is slow so by the time the the game starts everyone is already in. Thankfully 90% of people that play L4D2 wait for every player to be ready. Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005, classic) - I'm a Star Wars fan and this game is just brilliant. Also, when they remade this game in 2017 the servers for the 2005 game were activated again.
  18. Hey everyone. I'm Terry from England. I've been browsing this forum for a while and finally decided to join so I could join in with the activity. It's nice to see a forum that is so popular. I much prefer using forums than discord and other messaging apps. I own a Nintendo Switch that I share with my wife, we mainly play kiddy games due to having a two year old at home. Mostly Lego games and Mario Kart. I also own a laptop that I sometimes game on but it doesn't have the best specs so I can't play any newer games.
