The only downside about the Switch version is you can't add graphics. So you can't have teams with their real badge and players with their actual faces. Some people that doesn't bother them but I like the full experience.

Sadly no. I did have a gaming laptop that cost me over £1,000. When I moved out of my parents my dad refused to give it to me so I just use a basic laptop now that isn't designed for gaming.

See I'm the opposite. Maybe it's why I play the older FM games. But personally I find Football/Soccer boring. I used to love it growing up, pretty much obsessed with it, but nowadays I couldn't care less. I do enjoy playing Football Manager (the older games at least) but find watching it so boring.

Halo 3 is a brilliant game. I sometimes play it on my laptop, but it just barely runs so isn't the greatest experience.

When I was younger I always thought it would be a dream job. Getting paid to play video games, how awesome! Now I feel like I would get bored and if your income is through playing video games you can't really get bored otherwise you won't be playing and earning money.

Football Manager 2011. I just started a new save with my local non League side.

It's a cool concept, being able to play wherever (this was before Football Manager on the Nintendo Switch) but because the PC version is so much better it does getting boring after a while. As much as I enjoy Football Manager I'm quite terrible at the game, and tend to lose interest quick. I think the longest save I've had is 5 seasons.

Despite being a huge fan of boxing I have never watched any of the Rocky films. Never watched Game of Thrones either.

Mine was when I kept telling myself I should be spending time gaming instead of watching TV or whatever else I was doing. It became more of a chore then playing for fun. Thankfully that was about 10 years ago.

At the time I didn't have a laptop so I had no other way of playing Football Manager other than on my phone. It can be fun playing on the mobile but the PC version is more in depth. On mobile it's unrealistic and a lot of glitches as well.

I'm still unsure whether to buy one of these games. I bought Pokémon Shield when it first came out, it was the first Pokémon game I had played since Pokémon Emerald so it took me a while to get used to the new Pokémon and the fairy type. I did enjoy Shield, although I felt the game died off a bit. The first few areas were huge with lots to explore and then when you get towards the end of the game some of the areas only had a gym and a few houses. I have to admit the starters look cool. Will look more into it closer to the release date.

After seeing your post it dawned on me that 2017 was 5 years ago!! Where does the time go? As for your question, I guess 5 years is considered old by some, so if that feels old to you then sure. For me I consider old games more 10+ years ago.

You will be in for a shock if you do decide to try one of the newer ones. I personally prefer the old ones so currently playing 2011. The newer ones to me have too many features I don't care for, like hundreds of press conference questions, being able to use body language when communicating to players and stuff like that. I like to be able to just sign players, play matches and have fun.

I agree. It's always fun when you sign a player and then in real life they join the same team or a team in the same division. Makes you feel like a proper football manager. Do you play often?

Yeah, sadly the mobile version of FM can only be played with 2D match engine. It sucks in a sense because there are other football games on mobile that use 3D. Do you remember what version you played was? I spent a good 5 years around 2013-2018 only playing the mobile version, but nothing beats the PC version as it's so much more in depth.
