You and @Clasher are doing that thing again where you just talk about whatever you want within a thread that hasn't got anything to do with the topic. If you want to keep this conversation going, do it through PM's or on a more appropriate thread. You both know how this supposed to work. Next time, there will be not post like this from me reminding you and no message sent to you in warning, I'll just start deleting posts instead because I've had enough of telling you.

First of all this was my post. Second of all since there seems to be such a strict policy on what I can and can't discuss within a thread I think I'm just gonna go ahead leave the site. I can't handle having all my threads nitpicked & being threatened with having my posts deleted. If it's that big of a frickin deal then have at it. I'm done.

I always advise those that playing on Gaming PC not to do a lot of updates when it is released as some of these updates might affect the loading speed of some games. Have you contacted the company about the issues that you are having with the PC?

we have wandered off topic now and i don't wanna get scolded for it. but yes i did try.

Have you bought a gaming PC recently? If no, then I understand your thinking about how expensive gaming consoles are. I had a rethink after checking out the cost of most of the gaming PC and think consoles are way more better in terms of price comparison.

I bought one a couple years ago. It cost me $1200 on sale and it's now decoration. I won't ever buy another gaming pc again. It was a gaming laptop. It sucks. And Microsoft has totally screwed it up with the updates and the thing can't handle the games.

You have to understand...I don't earn much money. So for me $500 is a helluva lot to spend on something I may not be able to use 10 yrs from now.

If you want to learn to play under survival, I would suggest going to at least peaceful mode so that you can learn recipes and all that. Because when in creative you can use any block/items/tools you want in order to build and you don't see how each item is made. In peaceful and survival, you have to mine for your supplies. Creative won't teach you the recipes to my knowledge.

What I did with creative mode, was build my world up first, and once I felt like my world was up to par, I could turn on survival mode and invite my friends in as well and turn back on survival mode. But most people start in survival or an easier difficulty to get the controls down.

so i can get the recipes in peaceful mode? or not? i'm kinda confused.

That's actually a good rule of thumb actually, with no shortage of people streaming games and making content for twitch/YouTube?
It's better for the consumers and lessens the impulse buyers (though they still exist) 🤣

also, I like some of these YouTubers going:

I bought it and played it, so you don't have to (if it's bad) 😉

only thing is...one man's bad may be another man's awesome!

  6. PS5's are going for anywhere from $500 on up here. i'm not spending $500 or more on another console ever again. especially if they're only gonna support something for X amount of years and then pull the plug and leave me with a machine i can no longer use and games i can no longer play. this is an expensive hobby to have and it ticks me off that they make us waste money on something so they can sell more crap.

  7. cost wise i simply can't afford a PS5 and honestly idk that i even desire one. i'm pretty content with my nintendo switches. they fit my needs. i had a PS & a PS2. never got beyond that. i find it interesting that handheld consoles seem to be better at longer playtime than the tabletop consoles. i've burnt up all 3 of the ones i had because i played too much. so i'm reluctant to go back to that. call me crazy. lol!

  8. and here i felt stupid for feeling bad about pick pocketing the AIs in skyrim. lol!

i can't do stuff like that phosphorous thing...i'd quit the game and delete it if i had to do that. i don't like killing animals in games. games like fortnite and splatoon the violence is cartoon violence. it's easier for me to accept. i still don't like hurting animals in games. i play minecraft in peaceful/creative mode. a gamer friend of mine plays tomb raider and i can't watch. i mod his stream but i can't watch when he plays that game. certain games just bother me and i won't watch or play them. i've been having some heart problems so i gave up my skyrim and all my shooter games because they cause too much anxiety. i've never really been into violent games but during the pandemic for a while they scratched an itch that needed scratching. i don't know that i'll ever be interested in the survival mode on minecraft. i just like cozy games mostly. the most chaotic game i have right now is my fall guys. lmao!

  9. ok now i'm confused. if the question is which games offer the least prejudice or bigotry i am sticking to ac new horizons. you can make whatever island you want. if you're part of the lgbtq crowd you can have that kind of island if that's what you want. i had a goth island going. i since restarted to do something else. i'm sure you could do just about anything on acnh u wanted. it's a creative/simulation type game. acnh doesn't really hang on male or female roles or nationalities or even sex. you just go to this deserted island and get yourself 10 villagers and start creating. the villagers go along with whatever because their those AI's and you can interact with them. befriend them and even love them.

I've played it on the PC first, but that PC died a while after so I ended up getting it on the 360. The 360 version is very limited as you can't build unlimited. I built a ton on my 360 map. I even built a massive hotel, but don't recall if I filled up all the rooms. Probably not.

I then got it again on PC later on, and played on there from time to time. It's really fun if you give it time and learn the game. Or you can go creative mode and just build to your heart's content.

i'm in creative mode. but i'm a noob. idk what i'm doing at all. if i get things figured out i might eventually move to survival mode. maybe.

Animal Crossing New Horizons. Whatever you do in that game, the villagers are always happy for you, where in the previous games (particularly the first one, it's been toned down more and more every installment) they could be more rude. But NH is essentially just a tool for the player to express themselves without fear of pushback nor repercussion.

this is true. plus i believe the game itself is more open to diversity.

Right? I remember making a ton of stuff in the 360 version of Minecraft ages ago, but never have I made something so huge and time consuming. I mean, I have built a lot in minecraft, just nothing on this level.

Have you played minecraft before? Have any fun builds you have made?

i'm just now getting started in minecraft. i've had the acct. for a while now but, i didn't really understand the point of the game. a friend at work explained it so i'm working on getting started but it's slow going. i have lots of other games and i don't usually mess with minecraft till the weekends i'm off. been looking at info on the game. it's all foreign to me. i have a couple worlds i bought but idk what i'm supposed to do with them. lol!

I gotta give props to the people who make these wild creations in Minecraft, especially taking 6 years of their life to make something such as this. This person decided to make an as close as possible replica of Hogwarts as they could. The creator used the likes of video footage of the movies and photos as well.

I can see some seeing pong as a boring game in some regards, but is it really the worst thing you've played? I understand why people wouldn't like it, but I figure even the Atari version of pong plays fine enough. I imagine it'd be a lot better on an arcade machine though.

i wouldn't have posted it as being the worst game i ever played if it wasn't.

We used to watch TV all the time. But these days all we have interest in is streaming (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.) and YouTube. My time is taken up mostly by YouTube if I'm watching anything at all. We also have an over abundance of DVD's. So we cancelled our DirecTV service and just stream these days.

And to be completely honest, I don't miss it.

I quit watching tv years ago. I was tired of paying a cable bill for crap I was turning off. I have Hulu+LiveTV with ads but I can choose my content. I like it better and it's only $77 something a month. There's nothing of interest on tv for me anymore. Especially all that reality crap. I get enough of that IRL.
