I think that's just the way it works when people have such a strong belief or faith in something. It can go for pretty much anything else as well. When I was low-carbing in 2017, I truly believed it was the only way to get thin and stay thin. Like no other way would work. Yet, once I got off the low-carb train and just ate other stuff too, I still kept losing weight.. without even trying or worrying about carbs.
Or when someone falls in love with a new person, they can only see that one person as "the one"... it never dawns on them that there very well might be many, many other 'ones" coming along the way after that one. 😂
I was raised Catholic, but because there is some Jewish on my dad's side, I've explored that religion as well, and to be honest, I feel very comfortable with both.
I know there's a higher being and Creator, and that's all I really need to know. I have seen His works.

Probably the third ^^ gets first place. Milk Duds are tough on the teeth and I've had friends who've lost fillings with those bad boys. 😂

...when you don't have much room? I've always worked from my phone, and usually it's just chillin in bed with my head propped up on some pillows.
I'm looking to set up a small laptop with some kind of desk/stand and chair so my neck gets a break. My neck always seems to be pushed forward/down while typing or doing anything on my phone, no matter which way I do it, I always seem to be looking down.
Anybody have a small PC display in a space with not much room? I wouldn't even know where to set it up, we're dealing with a 100 sq foot room and it's already loaded.

😅 It always jolts me and that's when I get mad. I don't enjoy getting unnecessarily nervous just because someone wants to draw attention.

Got it. There's this Facebook game .. like an underwater sea life character game where you interact with fish, sea horses, etc. I believe it's similar to Pet Buddies (formerly Petville) but the whole thing involves sea life. I can't remember the name but lots of people love it.

Definitely PC.. if I could get a new one! Mine is so old and slow. Maybe after my birthday, might get a new one because the real reason I choose PC over cell is because of the bigger screen! Even with reading glasses, my eyes strain. And then it takes them a while to readjust when I try to look far.

Mine would have to be "The Crush" with Alicia Silverstone. I went after work with a friend of mine and it turned out to be surprisingly good.
Another one: Fear .. with Reese Witherspoon.
Again, I went after work with another work buddy. We had a job working at our old school watching kids after school.
Anyway, those ^^ two movies stand out to me.

It doesn't bother me so much, I guess if I were stuck at a really long light... Then it would get to me, only because getting stuck at a light is bad enough.
Motorcycle guys love to blast music.. again, doesn't bother me but if they rev up engine and scare me for no reason, that'll do it.

I still do. For a while there, I really got hung up on YouTube videos, watching them on TV but it's still YouTube.
Now, I tape episodes of Will & Grace ever since I found it again on Logo. And I have access to old episodes of La Femme Nikita 😎 (GREAT show!) which I can watch any time. For free. 🙂

^ Rest Stop had me so scared I remember I was afraid to try on clothes at Kmart in the dressing room. I was all paranoid for like a week. And the movie had nothing to do with stores or dressing rooms. I was just plain freaked out. That guy was pure evil. The guy in the truck.

Space Invaders was developed by Taito and published by Atari, at least it was on consoles. Love 'em both. Biggie has (had) [RIP] a voice and style you could recognize anywhere.
And Em has a very special way of making lyrics rhyme not only at the end of each verse, but sometimes even in the middle. A very talented "poet" if you look at it that way.

I've actually returned pedometers that had wayyy too many functions. Say, for example, it would request height, weight, stride, etc. The whole thing needed to be "set up" before it would even begin counting steps. I'd have my brother try to do it but then he said I'd have to put in the time, distance, and stride every time I used it and I was like no way.
My fave is the one from Sportline. Basic step counter. 😉

Hahaha Yeah the internet/social media alone started pushing society more and more into isolation, even before the pandemic..like you said. And then once Covid hit, everyone's on lockdown. Many people didn't mind, I noticed that as well.

I know what you mean. I don't have a YouTube channel, but my niece and her friend tried to get one going and I just remember her telling me how impossible it was to get any exposure.
That's because it's just TOO BIG. And it's the same on almost all big platforms, even photo uploading sites.
The only way to get people to view anything you have, is to first go and view theirs, and let them know by leaving a like or comment. Otherwise, you just remain invisible, unless you get lucky with that one random click/ view. Unfortunately, that's Big Internet for ya. I've always preferred forums. 😉

My vote goes to Friends. Phoebe and Ross are the two that crack me up the most. I find it interesting how many of the roommates hooked up from time to time, yet nothing ever went on between Rachel and Chandler. In fact, they hardly had any main storylines together, except for the unforgettable cheesecake 🍰 episode.
Everybody Loves Raymond is good too, but it's more my mom's show. It's always on. She likes the tall guy, Ray's brother.

I absolutely do. I would say 70% of my favorite songs have come from TV shows and movies. Mostly movies.
The entire Great Expectations soundtrack.. I love every song on the track and wouldn't have even known about any of them without having seen the movie.
