  1. Well, I understand that games are going to cost more now a days than they did since the first console I've had. But I think that's just greedy to sell an unfinished game and make you have to pay again to finish the game.....or sell parts separately so that you can't even play the game without having to drop more cash.
  2. I don't remember the last game I purchased. The last few games I received for my Switch were games that I got as presents for Christmas or my birthday. Here are the games I have received.... - Captain Toad : Treasure Tracker - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Super Mario Odyssey
  3. I don't have a favorite horror-survival game but there are some I'm interested in playing. Friday the 13th : The Game is one of those games that I'd like to try, I just haven't purchased it yet.
  4. I"m currently playing Captain Toad : Treasure Tracker on my Nintendo Switch. I just about have the game beat now (unless there are more levels after the end that I don't know about).
  5. I"m one of those people the play the game just to have fun. If it doesn't have any entertainment value, then it isn't worth it to buy the game to begin with (in my opinion). Now, if part of the fun is trying to get the trophies and achievements for that game, then I'll probably go ahead and do it. But I don't get a game just to try to get the trophy.
  6. What game(s) are you currently playing? Can you tell us if you're playing it on your PC or which console you're playing it on? How long have you been playing those games? How far have you gotten in that game? Is the game difficult or easy in your opinion?
  7. I normally will wait till my birthday or Christmas time and ask people if they don't mind getting me the games I want as a present. But, my hubby and I have a rule....as long as we can pay the bills first, the money that is extra at the end of the month can be spent on fun things like playing video games, going to the movies, etc.
  8. I'm with D_S on this one. Unless I was playing some kind of click to shoot game, I don't really see the benefit of getting something like this for my PC.
  9. It all depends on if I have to work that day. If I have to work, then I'm luck if I get to spend an hour of my time on playing video games. If I don't have to work, then usually I have quit a bit more time that I can spend on playing because I have a lot more free time on my hands. It also helps that I normally do my chores on the same days I have to work so I can actually enjoy my days off.
  10. How many games do you think you buy each year? How much money do you think you've spent on gaming each year? Do you think you spend too much money on video games? Why or why not?
  11. I have a Super NES hooked up to the tv in my living room. It actually belongs to me and both of my brothers. We pulled our money together one year shortly after Christmas and bought ourselves a Super NES as kind of a late Christmas present for ourselves. But my younger brother contact my older brother and I about if we wanted to keep it or sell it and split the money. I told him I would like to keep it if no one else wanted it. So I have it so that we could keep it in the family.
  12. I haven't gotten any at the moment. But if I did collect them, I would only collect the ones that I liked instead of trying to worry about collecting them all.
  13. I picked Toad. I picked him a lot because I felt he was one of the faster ones since he didn't weigh that much. The only down side to him was if you bumped into one of the bigger racers, they could knock you out of the way pretty easily.
  14. I understand. I have to have a video game that has some kind of a story line to it in order to keep me entertained. I can't recall Nintendo producing shooters and some of the other games that MS/Sony produces that don't have a story to them.
  15. It sounds like you're a Nintendo fan like myself. My parents bought the regular NES for the whole family. The Super NES, my brothers and I bought ourselves by pulling all our money together in order to buy it. Every console from N64 on has been a console that my hubby has bought for me as a gift for Christmas or my birthday.
  16. Oh, okay. I understand now. So, if Amazon is doing something different with the offering Amazon bucks or whatever, won't Gamestop and Best Buy start doing something similar in order to compete with them?
  17. I've learned a long time ago to ignore reviews from critics or whatever because I usually end up liking whatever it is that they don't like. However, I can't think of a game at the moment that was really underrated.
  18. Do you do all your gaming on a PC or a laptop? Why do you prefer that one over the other? How much did you spend on that PC or laptop? What kind of specs does it have?
  19. I take breaks from gaming in order to give my eyes a rest from looking at the screen. I don't want to hurt my eyes from looking at a screen for long periods of time because they say that that isn't good on your eyeballs. But I can't say that I've ever gotten bored with gaming. As long as they come out with a new console periodically and new games for each console at a steady rate, then I don't see myself getting bored with gaming.
  20. That's weird. I figured Amazon would keep those discounts in order to compete with Best Buy and the other stores that are offering that now. I would think that getting rid of that wouldn't help them to compete with someone else.
  21. There are some games that I loved playing on the N64 and if they make those games again, I would be very interested in one of these things if they made one of these.
  22. I don't pre-order a lot when it comes to video games because they usually have plenty of copies here when it comes to games I want. So, this doesn't really affect me really. Now, if I didn't a lot of shopping on Amazon, like Demon_skeith mentioned, I might pre-oreder a little bit more often.
  23. I've never got into streaming. I've only played video games as a form of entertainment. I've never seen it as a job or something I can make money off of it.
  24. Honestly, I liked Super Mario 3D World on the Wii U so I wouldn't mind seeing it on the Switch. Super Mario Color Splash might be another one.
