  1. I’m posting this petition that I started for a reason. One is because someone I love had a major COVID-19 scare. Thankfully, they ended up being negative. Also our moderator (whom I consider a friend) tested positive recently. So I am asking everyone to sign and share this petition as far and wide as you can. COVID-19 Vaccine Petition
  2. A lot of enemy camps get reused by the same gang in RDR2. you go in, kill the 4-5 guys there, loot their bodies, loot their camp and go about your business. Give it a while in game (a few in game weeks) and there will be enemies there again reusing the camp. Killing them will only get you the opportunity to loot their bodies, as you already looted the camp. But it's worth it to me since you can get some good stuff that is worth some decent cash.
  3. It's the same here. Since the last update it has been like that for me.
  4. A major earthquake occurs in California. After the damage is assessed, workers discover a strange type of clay that was exposed by the fault line. Immediately, certain workers report a bizarre sensation: Merely touching the clay gives them a euphoric, almost sexual, sense of well being (they only need to touch it once to feel great forever). Soon, thousands of people begin flocking to the clay to experience it. About one in four people feel the euphoric effect, regardless of gender, race, age, or nationality; the rest of the populace feel nothing at all. Scientists who study the atomic structure of the clay realize this substance could also serve as the cleanest, most efficient fuel ever discovered (one pound of clay could power all of Los Angeles for 10 years). However, those who have personally and spiritually affected by the clay implore the government not to pursue this avenue; they insist that using the clay as energy will destroy mankind's ability to feel joy. They cannot explain what this means, but they overwhelmingly (and specifically) suggest that this is literally what will happen. In fact, many of them claim they will attempt to overthrow the U.S. government if the clay is "misused" in any way whatsoever. You are in the second term as your tenure as president of the United States. The clay has no effect on you whatsoever. Would you support an initiative that allows 5% of the clay to be mined?
  5. That's one thing I like about RDR2. There is no weight issue. Just a capacity issue until you get the Legend Of The East satchel. Then you can hold 99 of every item that you put in your satchel. Things like food and tonics. Until then, you can hold at max 5 of any given ting depending on what satchel you're using.
  6. I only pre-ordered one game in the past, and only one. It was the gold edition of For Honor. It was only available in pre-order and came with a lot of exclusives. So far I have only one thing to say about pre-ordering the game for those exclusives: Worth it.
  7. I know, and I'm no exception. Last year I tried Skyrim for the first time on my PS3. Fifteen minutes in it completely glitched out. The camera started pulsing in and out of focus while slowly spinning in circles. I quit right then and there. But people here began telling me that the PS3 version was so buggy is almost wasn't even worth playing. So I now have it on both Switch and PS4. From what I hear now, they fixed a shitload of the bugs for those releases. I've been going at it on my Switch, but I'm not able to get into the game. It has nothing to do with bugs or glitches this time. The game simply isn't capturing my interest. But I'm going to keep going at it, because I'm thinking that maybe I'm just not far enough in yet for it to grab me. I mean, I'm a FF8 nut, but the first disc is so damn boring that a lot of people never experienced disc 2. So my thinking is to keep at it. If I get in deep and it still doesn't grab me, well at least I tried. It's why I don't read the posts made about Skyrim here. Spoilers. If I need help I'll make a topic, but as of yet, despite not having a damn clue where I'm at or what I'm doing, I'm going to rely on myself. A funny thing? I discovered that for some reason, at some point, I had the players guide before I even had the game. I have no idea how that happened.
  8. I would have killed them too, but there were witnesses. Enough that I would never get out. But I'm still haunting them to this day. I do things that they know is me, but leave them no way to prove it.
  9. I don't use any kind of app. I just write mine in HTML and save it to a thumb drive. It makes it easier if I want to read back through it. Every entry has the time and date when I wrote it. It's as simple as that. Notepad is the best program to use for writing it.
  10. Valid point, but they're trying to follow in the footsteps of the Simpsons and stick around 20 years past when they should have ended. It's why Trey Parker and Matt Stone stopped killing Kenny in every episode. They thought the bit had gotten stale and just wasn't funny anymore. I thought it was funny and entertaining to try to figure out how he was going to die "this time", but I agree with them. A bit is only funny for so long. It's also why Stewie isn't as evil as he was in the early seasons of Family Guy. Seth MacFarlane thought that was getting old. Not much has changed on American Dad. So at least that one is following its original formula, for the most part. A lot of people refer to Roger as a "gay alien", but being that he's not even human, I don't see how he could fit into being either "gay" or "straight". All I know, is Roger likes men. They're good shows, but they need to know when it's time to retire and move on. The Simpsons, however, is not a good show anymore. In the beginning it was great. 30+ years later, they only shoot themselves in the foot with every episode they make. Everyone I know who formerly liked the show, quit watching it at least 15 years ago. Granted characters that were complete idiots is a time tested formula for a cartoon and sitcom. But when the show itself is just stupid then there's a problem. I won't watch it if the episode came out after the tenth season. They became desperate for plot lines after that. How they've managed to keep going is beyond me. I mean honestly, is there anything they haven't fucking done?
  11. I love raw food if we're talking about fruits and vegetables. Meat and grain products on the other hand have to be cooked. Raw bread and sausage are not exactly something I'll be running to the table for. I get sushi every time I go to a Japanese restaurant. I love shrimp, no matter how it's served. Salmon rolls aren't bad, if you like salmon. One thing to stay away from is urchin. I tried it out of curiosity, and it's like eating sandy snot. I ended up puking. But there's lots on a sushi menu that are really good.
  12. Banks here will exchange a torn bill as long as you have 2/3 of the bill with a complete serial number. It used to be half the bill in the 80's, but then they realized people were tearing bills in half to double their cash flow. So they altered the rules/laws on that.
  13. That's the only reason I like thanksgiving. The food alone. Other than that, I celebrate no holidays, be they religious or secular. It makes no difference to me.
  14. That's the part you pay for. It tends to run 50k-100k depending on the identity being stolen. The more powerful and famous/infamous the identity, the more it costs. I've known people who have intentionally ruined their credit rating to try to protect themselves from identity theft. Not a smart way to go about it, but fairly effective nonetheless. Not the way I would do it, but when you have little to no option, it could work.
  15. Despite being on the surface web, that looks like some of the stuff I commonly see on the dark web.
  16. I'm so glad they made this video. This is one of the best videos about us that I personally have ever seen.
  17. RDR2 definitely. The members in camp, and every NPC to be fair acts like any human being of the time. And like a lot of them today. The game is so immersive, and the characters so life like in every way, that you forget you're playing a game after a while.
  18. Not even when you hear an argument off camera and then see someone fly all the way across town level with the rooftops? Or when a character in your camp starts playing air banjo and actually produces music?
  19. I would like to see Rockstar remake RDR1 with updated graphics so it's at least as easy on the eyes and looks just like RDR2. Also release it for the PS4, as that would be both convenient, and allow me to use the most comfortable controller in gaming history.
  20. There's a part in RDR2 that I won't get into as it's a MAJOR spoiler, but it was heart wrenching. And the fact that that's coming from me, it should really tell you something.
  21. I grew up in the 80's and still remember Atari 2600 being the cutting edge of home technology. I remember microwaves and VCR's being something that only the lucky and the rich could afford to buy. I remember cassettes being played on a Walkman. I remember the video game crash of the early 80's. And I remember the explosion of the mid 80's when the NES hit the western market and saved the entire video game industry. Everyone wanted one. I had a Colecovision and didn't appreciate it at the time. How foolish I was. But the NES brought video games to a new height, that no one ever would have thought possible if they hadn't seen it with their own eyes. We went from 2 bit graphics, straight into 8 bit graphics. We also went straight into some of the absolute best games ever released. It's part of the reason I'm a classic gamer, but won't go anywhere near any of the flashback bullshit or emulators, as I feel like a traitor and literally sick to my stomach at the though of using either. I'm not coming down on anyone who prefers either. To each their own. 4) The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own. But I personally can't use either. I use the original systems designed by said company (Nintendo, Atari, Sega, etc.) and the original cartridges. Sure performing brain surgery on a 35 year old NES can get tedious every time you want to play a game, but it's worth it to me.
  22. I use a TV as a monitor anyway, so this wouldn't be a problem for me.
  23. I'll put on a rubber glove, take the $100, put it in a ziplock bag, throw away the glove, go home, lay the bill out in the sun weighted down on the edges so it doesn't fly away when it's dried, put on another rubber glove and take it to the bank to break it into $20's.
