Would you rather be force-fed fried foods or desserts?
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I'm not all that big on sweets, and I love fried food. So bring on the fried stuff for me. -
Would you rather drink only tea or juice for a day?
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
Tea. I haven't drank juice in over a decade, if even that recently. I drink tea all the time. So it's a no brainer for me. -
Would you rather receive the Nobel peace prize or the Oscar?
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
The Oscars are entirely political. It's not an actual award anymore, assuming it ever was. Depending on what the Nobel was for, I would possibly be interested in that. But an Oscar would mean that I was a successful actress. Which is something I would love to do. But I have more interest in B movies and voice overs. That area of acting doesn't even get invited to the Oscars. So all in all, the Oscars would most likely be what I would go for. -
The one I'm trying to come up with is the exact colors I always wanted to. It's a white body with a red interior. It's a wet dream for me.

That video is blocked here, but I found one, and I'm already into it. It's second only to BattleBots for me.

Would you rather taste mud or chew grass?
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
The leaves can be sharp if you chew them wrong, but they're actually really good. -
I know what slang is. I've used it a lot. My point was that I don't know if I use it much anymore. Whatever comes out of my mouth, is whatever my point it. Whether it's chunk or bunk is irrelevant. Shit on a cactus @killamch89 everyone of us knows what slang is. Prop you popsicle, find some cotton candy, and blast it up.

What book universe would make a good open world game universe?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I won't buy anything Harry Potter related. JK Rowling being so anti-transgender makes me sick. Since I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community, I'm boycotting anything and everything that comes from her, regardless of what it is. It has absolutely no chance whatsoever of coming into my house. -
Very true. At the moment, I'm desperate to come up with $10k because there's someone selling my dream car on CL, and that's their asking price.

Ever bought a game as an investment?
The Blackangel replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming Forum
No, I have it in my Switch case and play it once in a while. I kept it in the plastic wrap that all the games come in for a while, but after seeing nothing happen, I started using it. Three awesome games in one? No loss there, especially since one of them is a longtime favorite of mine. Mario 64 is a great game, and being able to have it portable, is worth every penny. I can't count the number of times I have been out, and started jonesing for a Mario 64 fix. Upon getting home, I played all damn day, and got my ass kicked over and over for the most part. But I cleared it, and got the full 120 stars. Which is one of the most difficult things in gaming history to do, if you ask me. That's just my opinion. I'm sure there are others who will argue that point with me. -

She wasn't suing the company, she was threatening to sue the gamer that killed her sons character. -
Video game full scripts – let’s make a directory
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
If you were to go to get the script for a game like RDR2, you had 2 choices. Stick exclusively to what those in the gang say, or spend the next 50 years minimum of trying to get all of the script written down. There are thousands of NPC's, and hundreds of stranger missions. Then you have the actual missions of the game to progress it further. Some of the stranger missions are time sensitive. Typically meaning, that if you progress to the next chapter, the mission is no longer available. Also a lot of them aren't actual stranger missions. You just have to be in the right place at the right time. if you have a bounty on your head, bounty hunters will be after you and you would have to get that dialogue down too. If you choose to pay your bounty, ten the bastards will leave you alone. -
Ever since his inauguration, republiKKKlans have said that anything and everything proposed by Biden and the Democrats in general, they were going to fight it. It didn't matter what it was. Even if it was continuing something the Adolf started that they all fully supported and praised. They want to be combative. They may not necessarily believe in what they're doing, but if it fights the Democrats, then in their eyes, it's worth it. If a republiKKKlan has a problem with me making choices for my body then I'll make a choice for his and rip his nuts off. After that we'll see how he feels about someone making choices for other people when it comes to their bodies.

I would want to be terrible. It gives me a goal to aim for, which is becoming good at the game, and beating it. You all know that I have been trying to beat a specific game for over 30 years, and had no luck so far. But I am more determined than ever to do it. The challenge is worth it, and I love this game more than I did 10, 20, and even 30 years ago. I will beat it eventually. Also when you master a game, it loses its allure. For example there is literally nothing I don't know about Zelda: A Link To The Past on SNES. I have mastered that game completely in every way. Thus, nowadays, it's pretty much boring and nothing but a time eater, or just something to keep my hands busy. So being terrible at games would be more rewarding for me than immediately being amazing at games.

Video game full scripts – let’s make a directory
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
There are some games that have so much dialogue, that there's absolutely no way possible to cover the script. Especially with random encounters, and NPC's going about their daily lives with you simply overhearing a conversation between two of them. Doing that with some games is just literally impossible. -
Top 10 Video Games That Tricked Parents
The Blackangel replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming Forum
I would have to look for the YouTube video, but there was a kid who got killed in an online game and his mother got on the mic and threatened to sue the one that killed her son. They weren't in the same country, or even on the same continent! The kid was like 10 years old, and I think he was playing Call Of Duty or something similar. But he started whining to his mommy, and she went fucking nuts. Just goes to show how pathetic some people are. -
Ever bought a game as an investment?
The Blackangel replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming Forum
I bought a Switch game at Walmart, not because I wanted it, but because due to its popularity scalpers were reportedly buying them up and tripling the prices on them. It's Super Mario 3D All Stars. It's one that I honestly never thought I would buy, but I actually enjoy the hell out of the game. -
I absolutely agree 100% on Call Of Duty. I also agree with almost every other game series that they mentioned.

That's Symphony Of The Night on PS1.

I knew it was as common as drinking water. I was just saying that I hadn't personally encountered anyone actively trying to sell their accounts. Especially on Craigslist no less. That's why I titled this thread Craigslist Stupidity.
