  1. Another useless weapon is the magic powder in Zelda: A Link To The Past. There is only one time you need it, and that's in the bats cave next to the blacksmiths house. Other than that, unless you just enjoy playing with it, you will never use it again. It serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever.

The tyrfing in Castlevania: SOTN makes no sense as well. it's a cursed sword that when you get it, has an attack of zero. It will not do a single point of damage no matter how many times you strike. You have to level way the hell up before it takes on an attack value. Why the hell would they even put something like that in the game? Exactly what purpose does it serve other than to waste space in my inventory?

    I just surpassed 500 posts.

That just seems comical to me. The admin just reached 500 posts. You would think that being an admin he would have more posts than just about anyone. Hell I haven't been here all that long, and even I have more posts than @DC. Granted it's not by much, but still.

Home Alone - 10/10 (been binge-watching older movies since last week).

That movie came out when I was in middle school, and it still feels weird to me to think of it as an old movie, even though it clearly is. Actually any of the movies I grew up on are now really old, but it just feels so odd to realize that. I mean, I'm 37 now, so anything I grew up on is pretty much ancient. I seriously doubt anyone here remembers Howard The Duck or Boyz N The Hood.

The good news in some way is that they have confirmed that the movie will not be an origin story but it will be the first years of Wayne as Batman.

Heath Ledger was a great Joker. There's no argument there. But you can't count out Jack Nicholson as one of the best. He's right up there with Ledger. They both brought their own view of insanity to the character, and made their roles unforgettable. The best line Nicholson delivered, in my opinion, was "Where does he get those wonderful toys?" It's hard to top that one.

  5. Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest (NES)

It seems everyone hated this one, but it quickly became one of my favorite entries in the entire franchise. It's actually the game that made me a Castlevania fan. I liked it a lot better than many Castlevania entries. It was just a lot better story than the first or 3rd one to me. Don't get me wrong, 1 & 3 were great games, but 2 is where it's at IMO.

Haha. I think we all are thankful for that part. I think but socializing needs to be done to avoid being into this type of situations. I think one needs to understand that part about adjusting and tolerating people.

And just what the fuck is that supposed to mean?

  7. Age Of Empires 3. It was nothing but a total mess. The graphics were horrible, the gameplay was pure shit, the expansion packs added nothing to the game. It was a major let down.

  8. From the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed, what’s the best part of your day? For me it’s taking a long hot shower right before I get ready for bed. I look forward to that all day. It’s relaxing and the stress just melts away. For the most part, at least.

    So what is your favorite?

For me, gaming is almost more a de-escalation of emotions than anything. I'm emotionally flat though, so it's pretty much "calm" or "upset." Just getting back to calm can be pretty great.

I'm another one on this list. After 37 years, I'm numb. I'm either detached and feel nothing, or explosive, and genuinely dangerously angry. And with being bipolar and schizophrenic (among other things), that just makes the situation even worse.

  10. My left collar bone has extra corners from me landing wrong when I came off a bull. I love bull riding to this day, but being in a wheelchair kinda keeps my ride time rather, sparse, shall we say?

  11. For me that would have to be FF8. I always end up feeling close to the characters. Like they're family, or like I was at the orphanage with them. Like I'm the 7th member of the group. The story is just so captivating that the world around me ceases to exist. But I know how to keep myself in the real world. I have my babies (4 dogs, 2 birds, 1 rat) and they always come first.

This is my macaw. His name is Dante's Inferno. He's an evil little bastard, but he's still my buddy.

  12. I see continuous remakes, and next edition of games that should have been done ten titles ago. Things like Mortal Kombat. I get that it's an extremely popular series. But it's getting to the point where it's like "Ok. It's time to stop. We don't need to see Scorpion taking a shit, since that's all that's left." I'm personally getting really sick of it. Hell due to this constant "next in the series" shit, I almost can't bring myself to play the original MK on my SNES anymore. It's like Friday The 13th. There are literally 10 sequels and one remake. Can we say STOP?
