  1. Odd. I have yet to have much of any dreaming about gaming. My dreams usually involve me being a part of movies, or just doing my usual stuff. I don't think I had a legitimate dream about playing or being in a video game in over 10 years.
  2. I have before. I finally found a app that doesn't charge much for a simple cash upgrade, and doesn't encourage massive in-game purchases. $2.99 once a month to crack open saved ingame money is all I need to do with the game app I found. Simple game really. The game is Egg Inc. Fun to play, can play whenever I want, and don't have to be obligated to play all the time, unless I want to get to the best egg earner ingame.
  3. Not sure if it is worth more than what you payed for it, unless the games are still in good condition. Though I did manage to sell off one of my original x-boxs with a controller and 2 games for that amount 8 years ago, when I needed the quick cash.
  4. The most time I ever specifically put into a game that I was really dedicated to, was 7-10 hours per day. There was this online MMORPG Text based game I used to play, that because of my dedication, led me to the role of being the support forum admin and the game wiki admin. I played there for 7 years before I decided to go elsewhere and dedicate myself to something else. Though I did learn pretty valuable moderation experience from doing that for this game for 7 years.
  5. Personally? No. The controller I use is pretty well great on allowing me to change what I want the buttons to do. I haven't run into any issues with needing full control over every aspect yet.
  6. What got me into gaming after I initially was invited over to friends, was a couple of people that were willing to initially purchase games for myself. After that, I started getting new games to play on, and to go against others.
  7. Oh, this was when I played on the ladder on Battle.net, with StarCraft. THere were times I would play back in the day on the ladder, only to be playing against someone who thought they would level up faster by using mods and cheat systems to out play people. I haven't played much in the ladder anymore, and Blizzard does pretty well now to block those cheaters now, since most people are now stuck playing on their servers without using a third party host for their games to record wins.
  8. I would go with Starcraft and Halo. Combine the two into either a first person shooter or the god mode view, and you would have a fun game with much more gaming options to play with to go against your selected enemy.
  9. I am currently using and have been using a regular Monitor for years. Though I am inclined to give a TV a go, if I had the money for the best up to date TV that has the same specs needed to run most games off of it.
  10. On MMO's, I have spent probably a good 150 towards one MMO I used to play actively. Mainly to get upgrades for others who wanted the quick sponsorship items.
  11. Honestly? No. I no longer play it anymore. I have been focusing interests in other games that I feel like I need my time in to play as of late. If I were to get back into it, I probably would do it when I am ready to tinker around again with doing things in it.
  12. Dell have been pretty good to us for a number of years now. But we still go and look at how different companies are rated for certain desktops, so that we can be aware if any company has anything better for the same amount of money, that runs reliably much better.
  13. For everything I need to play, Desktops seem to run the games better. I have had issues in the past with Laptops running smoothly after running games for any extended periods of time above 2 hours.
  14. Whenever I bought a new game, it was usually due to friends having that game, or it somehow perked my interest enough to read about it while it was being advertised. I think the last game I bought off of impulse, was the console game edition of Lord of the Rings, for the x-box.
  15. At the moment, I think Blizzard (or it's parent company) can handle it, as they did pretty well with Warcraft.
  16. I would LOVE to see the StarCraft game series be put into movie form. I would purchase them if they did put it out. If they followed the storyline, they could make probably 12-15 movies easily and make a huge profit from it!
  17. I have never done it myself, but I know a few people that have done it quite a bit in the past. Infact, there are a number of people in my community that does so whenever there is a competition locally.
  18. At the moment, I don't. I would need to work quite a bit and have a great connection to make sure I can play competitively. THere are a couple games I have that I could potentially make money off of if I do play competitively.
  19. Honestly? I feel that it is an issue that people do not consider to be a concern over. I feel that if people didn't focus so much on the game and focused on enjoying time with people, then I don't think it would be as much of an issue it is today.
  20. My first Playstation was the original. I had the game Metal Gear Solid, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and Gex: Enter the Gecko. Loved those games.
  21. There was a game on the original x-box that I found rather weird. I don't exactly remember the name of the game, but it was about this hopping alien that goes around collecting stuff to get out of his alien jail. I don't remember the goal of the game that well, due to only playing it half way.
  22. I had a neighbor when I was around 7 that played Mortal Combat on the NES. From then on, we eventually got a play station and then an x-box. Been having fun playing games on them since then.
  23. Hey all! My name is Josh. I live in the U.S., in the Inter-mountain West, in Idaho. Just popping in and creating my intro. 🙂
  24. My first X-Box was the very first one. I had gotten a half a dozen games with it when I first got it. I still have it, and probably have close to 30 games still. I occasionally use it and play Mad Max, Halo, and a few other fun games.
