Yes, it's because of the console exclusives. Not only that but I doubt Nintendo will get another console out especially after Furukawa has denied the rumors about a new iteration of the system.

They made it clear that a remake of the third resident evil game was already being planned, especially after the succcess of the remake of this game. That'sbecause RE3 is happening on the same moment as the RE2 events happened. And no, it will be a full standalone title.

None. I don't really like horror movies because they are more often than not bad. However, if I were to pick, I'd definitely go with the first Paranormal Activity movie.
