This scene was pretty hilarious - I'm not going to lie. King's reaction throughout all of this cracked me up.

I’d say the campfire scenes in Red Dead Redemption 2 really stuck with me. Hearing Arthur talk to himself by the fire, especially when he reflects on his past and mortality, caught me off guard. It felt so real, like he was letting down his guard in those quiet moments. I think it was how raw and unfiltered those monologues were that made them so unexpectedly moving.

Definitely Disco Elysium. I think I understood parts of it, but the sheer amount of detail and ambiguity in the endings left me wondering. The way it ties to your inner thoughts is genius, but I’m convinced there’s so much more hidden in there that I missed.

I’ve had a similar experience in the original Resident Evil 4 during the cabin defense with Luis - it’s such a frantic part, and even when I know it’s coming, the chaos of it still gets me tense every time. Those classic caught-off-guard moments keep games like these feeling fresh no matter how many times you replay them.
