I also loved "This is Why I'm Hot". My pick is "Pop, Lock and Drop It" by Huey.

The King (2019) - 8/10

This scene was pretty hilarious - I'm not going to lie. King's reaction throughout all of this cracked me up.

Got back on Sparking Zero today and did some single ranked matches and I'm finally up to A4 in rank. These guys are some real sweats though!

Video game dialogue you found surprisingly moving
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I’d say the campfire scenes in Red Dead Redemption 2 really stuck with me. Hearing Arthur talk to himself by the fire, especially when he reflects on his past and mortality, caught me off guard. It felt so real, like he was letting down his guard in those quiet moments. I think it was how raw and unfiltered those monologues were that made them so unexpectedly moving. -
Video game endings you are still trying to understand
killamch89 replied to DC's topic in Gaming Forum
Definitely Disco Elysium. I think I understood parts of it, but the sheer amount of detail and ambiguity in the endings left me wondering. The way it ties to your inner thoughts is genius, but I’m convinced there’s so much more hidden in there that I missed. -
Moments that catch you off guard even after many replays
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Absolutely, I can relate. I’ve had a similar experience in the original Resident Evil 4 during the cabin defense with Luis - it’s such a frantic part, and even when I know it’s coming, the chaos of it still gets me tense every time. Those classic caught-off-guard moments keep games like these feeling fresh no matter how many times you replay them. -
I'm not sure what to say because I did actually play every console imaginable and had owned them at some point growing up. NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS1, PS2, Xbox, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, Saturn, Nintendo Gameboy, Gameboy Color/Advance.

Most rewarding friendships in video games?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
For me, I'd also add Ellie and Joel from The Last of Us. Their dynamic isn’t traditional, but the gradual trust and bond they build make it feel so rewarding. -
Has a video game ever helped you explain something IRL?

Totally get what you mean about adulthood feeling "immersion-breaking". For me, life can feel like a poorly balanced RPG - constantly grinding away with a few overpowered tasks that overshadow the enjoyable quests. It’s like the real world doesn’t come with a good difficulty slider. -
I totally get where you're coming from. I’d say my least favorite has to be Raid: Shadow Legends. It's always hyped everywhere, but the gameplay didn't click for me. Plus, the constant ads for it on other games just added to the frustration.

When you’re deciding on a new book, do you check out reviews first, or do you prefer to dive in without any outside opinions? Reviews can offer insight, but sometimes they might spoil the experience or give a biased impression. What’s your approach? Do reviews help you make a choice, or do you find they ruin the surprise?

Whether it’s novels, non-fiction, graphic novels, or anything in between, how many books have you managed to get through? Any favorites, or reading goals for the next year?

If Bad Behavior Paid: What Habit Would Make You Rich?
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
Personally, binge-watching shows is my thing! I could turn my weekends into a TV consultant role, helping others pick the best series to waste time on. -
Aliens: "These "humans" are building nuclear reactors near their populace that will kill millions if anything goes wrong. They seem very idiotic and suicidal - send word to the mothership. We're not invading Earth - it probably won't exist in 50 Earth years."

Xbox has a lot of exclusives on the way, and it feels like there's something for every kind of gamer. Whether it's a big RPG, a shooter, or something unexpected, Xbox fans have a lot to look forward to. Which upcoming Xbox exclusive are you most excited to play, and why?

I’ve been reflecting on my gaming journey and the toughest titles I’ve tackled on Xbox. From the brutal difficulty of Dark Souls to the intricate puzzles in The Witness, some games really push our limits. What game had you sweating bullets, and what made it so challenging? Did you have to change your strategy multiple times, or was it all about mastering the mechanics?

With the ever-growing gaming market, I'm curious about how Xbox can enhance Game Pass to attract more subscribers. What features or changes do you think would make it even better? Should they focus on expanding the game library, improving cloud gaming performance, or perhaps offering exclusive titles? Maybe better family sharing options or more frequent updates?
