  1. Same here. I think the next big PlayStation exclusive will be a new IP, possibly from one of their lesser-known studios. PlayStation has been great at taking risks with fresh ideas (like Ghost of Tsushima before it launched), and I’d love to see a bold sci-fi or fantasy game come out of left field.
  2. It was a cool idea, but honestly, the execution left a lot to be desired. The browser was slow, clunky, and didn’t handle modern web pages well even back then. YouTube was borderline unusable without some workarounds. I mostly stuck to gaming and media playback, which the PSP excelled at, but the browsing felt more like a gimmick than a feature I actually used.
  3. Same here. I’ve also got the HyperX Cloud II, and I’ve been loving it. The sound is crisp, and it’s comfortable enough for marathon gaming sessions. The mic’s decent for talking with friends, though I’ve never used it for anything professional. I’ve had mine for over three years now, and it’s held up great - no real issues other than a bit of wear on the ear cups.
  4. For me, it’s Heavy Rain. Finding out that Scott Shelby, the private investigator, was the Origami Killer the whole time was such a jaw-dropping moment. It recontextualized everything I thought about his character and made me replay the game just to pick up on all the subtle hints I missed.
  5. The theory that Journey and Shadow of the Colossus share a universe also blew my mind.
  6. For me, it’s Carmelita Fox. She’s such an interesting character because she’s constantly walking the line between antagonist and ally. Her dynamic with Sly is packed with tension, but also mutual respect, and that makes her role in the story so compelling. Plus, her determination and no-nonsense attitude balance out Sly’s charm and playfulness perfectly.
  7. LOL! I knew I had too much of my mum's christmas cake. What I meant to write was in reference to Zelda's A Link To The Past. The house with the unique roof design in Ocarina of Time’s Mabe Village is a direct reference to the same location in A Link to the Past. It was appreciation of the earlier game by the devs and highlighting the connection between the two games. I knew something was off when I left my PS5 controller in the fridge yesterday. She always puts too much rum in this cake.
  8. Agreed. I don't mind historical accuracy but if I wanted an interactive history lesson, you can sign up for those online. Throwing different POV of an event with slight tweaks here and there can make more historically accurate games entertaining.
  9. Same here. I even have a permadeath mod on Skyrim for certain playthroughs - it makes them far more challenging. It's like my liking of games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring, I hate the inability to pause the game AT ALL. But I like how challenging it is even if it frustrates you at times.
  10. I would also go with Zelda Ocarina of time - it's a game that is timeless and can still bring you lots of joy. Plus you can encounter things that you hadn't noticed in your previous playthroughs.
  11. I agree. Gaming should be made to cater to everyone, no matter your level of commitment.
  12. Skyrim, Fallout 4, GTA 5, FF8, Metal Gear Solid and DMC 5. Those are the games that I could write whole lectures on.

  15. I've been on a Fire Emblem role this week. Been playing lots of Fire Emblem Awakening, Fates, Warriors and Three Houses for the 3DS and Switch respectively. I completely forgot how entertaining these games can really be.
  16. With the rise of AI in healthcare, there’s growing concern about whether AI systems should be allowed to recommend treatments without a human doctor involved. While AI can process vast amounts of data and offer personalized options, can it truly replace the nuanced judgment of a medical professional? What safeguards should be in place to ensure AI recommendations are ethical, accurate, and safe for patients?
  17. With AI progressing rapidly, what developments do you think will enable robots to take on more complex tasks? Is it deep learning, natural language processing, or perhaps advancements in reinforcement learning that will make robots more adaptable and capable? I’m curious to hear your thoughts on how AI will help robots handle tasks that require creativity, decision-making, or even empathy. What breakthroughs do you think will be the game-changers?
  18. As more IoT devices like smart thermostats, speakers, and security cameras enter our homes, what privacy risks should we be aware of? From data collection to potential hacking, it feels like our personal information might be exposed in ways we don't fully understand. How can we protect ourselves from unwanted surveillance or breaches? What steps should we take to secure our devices and ensure our data remains private?
  19. Robotic missions are essential for exploring distant planets like Jupiter and Saturn, where human presence is currently impossible. These missions can provide detailed data on the planets' atmospheres, magnetic fields, and moons through advanced instruments. Robots can also endure extreme environments, including intense radiation and freezing temperatures. They allow scientists to gather vital information about planetary formation, weather patterns, and potential for life, all while reducing the risk to human life and cutting down on mission costs. What do you think are the most promising robotic technologies for future exploration?
