I played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition on my Nintendo Switch in the morning. I'm just recovering from treating malaria and typhoid fever, I'm taking on games that's not going to stress me too much.

They really should make more games where you're an animal like Stray
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
If the game was up to 10 hours, I'm not sure if any gamer would be moaning about its duration in response to the price it was sold for. Catlateral Damage is another similar game like Stray where you have to play as a Cat too. -
Yeah, that's very true. As long as you have a plan or more like a blueprint of what you need to follow and perfect on it, you will most likely be successful at your goal. There will also be challenges, they will surely come in but with your plan, you will be able to beat them along the line.

It turned out that I had malaria and typhoid fever. I wasn't surprised when I got my laboratory test result which confirmed it. I know my body system very well that once something is odd or off, I'd know immediately. I'm already taking my meds now and I should be better soon. I was even offline for 2 days or so just to rest and so didn't play any games at all like I used to.

I have watched that trailer more than 10 times and whenever I rewatch it, it still feels like the first time I'm seeing it. The trailer had a good impact on the sales of the game if I remembered correctly. About 61% of the game was sold under 24 hours which was over 7 millions copies shipped worldwide.

Do you think 3D gaming will make a comeback? (3D TVs)
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
VR is going to be a huge turning point in the video game industry in few years to come. I'm seeing it getting to a point where all games would be played with only VR headset sooner or later but it's definitely going to happen. -
You can either call it Shisha or a Hookah. Seriously, and it's as if the more it's being tried to fight, the more it gets out of hands. It's like there's a force behind in support of it. Maybe the one's behind the drugs business.

What game do you struggle with that everyone claims is easy?
Heatman replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
God of War III is inarguably the most difficult of the game's franchise in my opinion. I was able to complete both God of War 1 and 2 in very hard mode but I wasn't able to do it in God of War III. -
When you play too much of a game for a long run, there's always the tendency of getting bored. It's not just in Sim games or even the supposedly relaxing games to play. Once you take it too much more than your body and mind can take, it will get boring for you. I'm going to take your advice and have some friends to play the survival mode in order to see if I'd have any difference.

Videogame Franchises that outstayed their welcome?
Heatman replied to Yaramaki's topic in Gaming Forum
It's a trick that's worked for both companies for years now and it seems like they have perfected it in a way that their fans who are so gullible wouldn't care to look through the game very well but take on it hook, line and sinker. It's why they keep making millions of dollars from those franchise every year. -
Here is the link to the news update on their active players dropping off 50 million active player. You can find everything in the link below. https://www.gamesradar.com/the-call-of-duty-player-base-declined-by-50-million-users-over-the-past-year/

It's definitely going to be dust problem that's making it malfunction in that matter even though you have it in a well ventilated area. When you have cleaned it up and it keeps doing it, then it's probably a mechanical problem. You can watch this YouTube video for steps on how to clean the console.

Red Dead Redemption 2 fans are planning a funeral for Red Dead Online
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
It's good to hear that you have over $6000 in your Red Dead Redemption 2 Single player now and that's something not easy to some people to get but it's very possible to do it. Why it's not so in the online mode? With less content to play in the game, that makes it very difficult to get. You invest more in the game and get out less from it. It's not worth it. -
When it got to that point where I knew that it's not something that I can beat at my pace that time, I had to slow down to learn how to beat it and not just jump into the battle because I can which ended up in dying 100%. It took me a while to get my wit about it and that's how I was able to get a breather.

Netflix should really start to release bigger/triple A games
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
If Netflix successfully get into gaming, there's a very big chance that other streaming companies would follow up immediately without allowing them to take full advantage of the market. HULU will definitely join the cue. -
That's very nice 😊. If you don't mind to share for me the songs download link if you can still have access to it, I'd like to see the one's I would like to download for myself too. The Sonic soundtrack was a big phase in the game they did justice to.

Kids are turning to video games to help with their anxiety
Heatman replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
I know that very well because I have been down that road in the past and it was an ugly one. I used playing video games as much as I could but had the same result. I later had to go for therapy and it really helped me a lot to recover. Although, I was passing through emotional, financial and psychological problems a lot back then. -
I also think that the kind of video games that you have to play which determines how you use the controllers also have a huge impact on how often the controllers gets damages often. It happened much with my PS2 controllers as well because I played FIFA with my friends all the time and it was used by different players. If it was only me that was using it, it wouldn't damage too often.

Video games trailers are very normal. They are mainly for the game's marketing purposes. It's why when you get to see a game's trailer that sells the game well, the game usually have a good turn over in terms of its unit sold when it's released and it's mainly on YouTube that you get to watch them all. I'm not sure if there's another place to watch them.

Exactly, it's giving me a lot of concern with the new release of the remake of The Last Of Us they are planning on. I do love that game so much but I would only have to wait for so long before the price comes down in order for me to buy it. Unless of course if someone decides to buy it for it sooner than I have to wait.

Videogame Franchises that outstayed their welcome?
Heatman replied to Yaramaki's topic in Gaming Forum
They are taking the game to the movie industry now because I have seen a few of Sonic The Hedgehog movies in a while now. What their agenda is with taking it to movie is something that I can't quite figure out yet. Maybe they are trying to get some people who aren't familiar with the game to look into it as well. It's the only possibility that I see from it. -
You have a point about the creative mode in Minecraft being a bit better because when I jumped into playing on survival mode, I completely lost it. There was no way of getting that relaxation most people talk about in playing the game. Even when I had to go back to creative mode, I simply couldn't sync back well with it after leaving it for a while.

Seriously, it keeps building frustration for games all the time they keep to their speculation without doing anything. The more they do that, the more it becomes unbearable to deal with. Sometimes, I try to keep myself away from all that bombarding of information just to have a moment of peace.

Are you really sure that fans of Call of Duty are really comfortable with the way that's have been going with the franchise since after COD Warzone? If so, why have their active gamers number dropped so bad? Perhaps, they should try an overhaul of everything and see what happens. It's my opinion though!!
