If you are current on video games (unlike me with my ancient console), what is the best new game you have played in 2019 so far? By "new," I mean games that released either this year or late last year.

I’m talking to a couple publishers and looking into the possibility of self publishing, just as soon as I find an editor I like. One of my novels isn’t gonna be published for a very long time, because I’m rewriting a huge chunk of it. I never liked the part of the story from the moment I wrote it, and to this day I still don’t know what the hell it was that convinced me to keep it. I have 3 short stories finished but I want to get a lot more ready and compile them into a book.

I would just like to see one of the books I've written made into a movie. That would be really cool.

I’m into horror and if I made a movie it would probably have a low budget. Thus, I would opt for a found footage horror movie akin to Blair Witch. I think a key part is not showing the monster/antagonist very much on camera. Makes it scarier.

Yeah as well ever since I was a kid I always liked to create my own stories, small comics, short stories ,manga, book ideas or movie ideas like this case, most of my ideas where really dumb now that I think back on them 😆, but anyways when it comes to making a script I had a few ideas about horror and scfi.
For a horror movie one of my ideas was about ghosts, something like paranormal activity where you dont actually see ghost and you just imagine his shape according to his actions, and also less chessy and of course no "real footage" non-sense, and no dumb teenagers.

ohemgee! funerals creep me out as well

I hope FF13 and FF14 also gets remake. I think a lot of games require remake and they need to be done in such way that we get to feel something new. 

We all know that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released soon and even though it is one of my favorite Final Fantasy Games from the series and I am looking forward to the remake, I also feel there are others that deserve such a chance. For instance, Final Fantasy 8 - brilliant characters, a main character (squall) and side characters who show tremendous character development throughout the show and a brilliant story. I've never been certain why it gets so much hate when it is a very solid game. Which Final Fantasy games do you think deserve a remake and why?

During their presentation at 2019 E3, Nintendo and the Developer working on Animal Crossing announced the delay of the new game into 2020.  They later provided a rationale for this delay.  Basically, they stated that their employees' work/life balance was more important than quickly pumping out a game.  Personally, I applaud them for taking this stance.  
How do you feel about their rationale for delaying one of the major Switch titles?  Should other companies follow suit?  Do you think this mentality would lead to a stronger gaming industry?  Discuss your feelings on the delay as well as how their mentality could impact other parts of the gaming industry.

@kingpotato That's a nope for me - a creepy doll house. People who are obsessed with dolls always tend to be on the creepy side as well.

Doll house that is near my house, it used to be a house full of old dolls hanging from every side of the house, it was creepy as fuck, there was an old car parked and it was also decorated with cars. My house is on the industrial park of the city and the doll house was in the rural area behind the industrial park, full of plains and hills so that makes it more creepy at night . I dont know much about the owners except that they where old people couple and I believe the husband passed away last year.

I've been to Rave parties in the middle of nowhere but I once went to one in an old abandoned funeral home when I was a teen. However, that party was completely abandoned after a few hours because we started to see stuff moving all over the place (I wasn't drunk or high btw).

It's only a few miles from where I live, here in Missouri.

I remember when I was in the Philippines, we drove to a place called Batangas. Batangas is like half rural and half urban. Anyways, we went to this place where I would say unusual and scary because when you look outside the car, you'll see gravestone shops. Kind of creepy as well because of the trees surrounding the area.

Lot of things in silent hill are scary and you are likely to get their dreams. I think lot of horror games deal with symbolism and gets in the head. 

I would say that one of the most unusual places I've been was an old forgotten cemetery that was way off in the woods. The most recent tombstone had a death date in 1927. It was also the only marble headstone. The rest were all limestone, and quite a few of them were civil war soldiers.

I think one more interesting trend this year has to be how the cyberpunk used the keanu reeves gaming face in the game. I think that definitely count in here. 

Daniel Logan was telling me a few days ago that he did some voice overs and his face was used in a game recently. I don't remember the game, and I don't think it's been released yet, but it's most likely a Star Wars game.

So my nephew was recently asking me. Is silent hill based on a true story? I said yes. Now he is going to remember the pyramid head for years to come. XD
