ZandraJoi Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Or equivalent. We have Directv & love this feature. I can’t imagine not having it. I’m so used to being able to pause & rewind that it makes it hard to watch TV at another place. We’ve looked into Directv alternatives as they are way overpriced for the minimal amount we watch. But we definitely need one that we can record & watch later.
The Blackangel Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 We have the same. We record a lot of shows through our DirecTV DVR. We don't always remember to change the channel at the right time to catch the show, so we set it to record and watch it later. Also I'm always watching hockey, so that kinda blocks Love After Lockup. Jayson Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 I don't use one. I used to but now I don't have access to a satellite, only Roku. Anyway, though, DVRs are a lot of fun and very useful. Well, at least, though, on Roku, most of the stuff seems to be "on demand".
Empire Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Used to back in the day, It was fun to setup and then while I'm away it would record onto the DVD or thumb drive. We even had a option to pause live TV and it will start recording to the drive. Those days stoppped now since we have better tech that allows as to watch programs that we mixed online or stream the next day option. I watch things no with stream on demand. Easy and fast and you get the full HD
egghead Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 Currently, I have not subscribed to any TV service, I am using streaming service, though.
