Do you design your characters based on your aesthetic ideals, or not?

Do you design your characters based on your aesthetic ideals when you can pick how your character looks, or do you have a different approach?

My approach is to craft my character from what his philosophy, backstory and then I create a character as close aesthetically as to what I envisioned my character looks like in my head and then I work on the other stuff afterwards.

When it comes to my choice of character design, 200% things that are connected to the character will definitely 200% related to what I believe in, how I feel about something and my priorities.

I tend to go for goofy things while creating an NBA Live player.  There really aren't that many other types of players or characters that I create.

Exactly, it's more like picturing yourself when having a character being created in such a way that the outcome represents everything you stand for
