I hate when walking forward or through a door closes off the area behind me with no warning

One of my biggest pet peeves while gaming is when I move into an area and with no warning, there is a cutscene, and then access to the previous area is sealed off. Anyone else hate this?

Seriously - It's very frustrating because sometimes I do feel like I missed something that I really need to check out in the previous area but unfortunately it's not possible to go back.

I hate it when doors close on their own period, even if you can reopen them.

Haha - you're very funny. You just want them doing it for you. If want it closed, you'd do it yourself when you want. I get that.

It does kind of annoy me too because maybe I forgot something in a previous area and want to go get it. It's utterly ridiculous if you ask me.

And to crown it all, if what you forgot to pick up before the door gets shut is going to be needed to complete an next task, it's definitely going to be cramp in the knee.

You'll probably have to revert to an earlier save.

If the progress that you need to cover from the last save is too far from where you need to access what's behind the closed door, what become of it? Or even if you are so unfortunate not to save, you're dead already.
