What games feel best to come back to after a long time away?

What games are you most excited to return to playing after months or years away? For me, it is RDR2, Skyrim, or any Fallout game.

I agree with RDR2 and I also think Watch Dogs - both games really. RDR2 always has some random in-game scenario that just makes the game always feel fresh.

This is where Tetris comes in for me. I don’t usually have the energy to play high end games that require a lot of thinking and most especially fights. So I just chill with Tetris.

For me, it’s sports games. There’s always new things being added to them and I enjoy the new things when I play them again. Madden is that game for me.

When it comes to games that I feel are best to come back to after a long time away from them, the one that jumps out at me the most and one I know I tend to go back to after a long break is Destiny 2. 

I hadn't played Destiny 2 for such as long time, over a year and then a couple of weeks ago I went back and enjoyed it more than when I had stopped. I believe it was due to burnout.

With Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door that just came out and Quidditch Champions going to come out in September, they've already completed my list for games that I wish they'd re-make or release again.

Definitely looking forward to jumping back into Skyrim! That world always pulls me back in. Fallout and RDR2 too!

I always come back to The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind because of the lore and the world and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, because of the awesome story and the characters.

I'm kind of excited to revisit Horizon Zero Dawn which is post-apocalyptic and sci-fi game. I like the Mass Effect series because of their engaging storyline and memorable characters.

For me, it's Dragon Age. The dynamics in that party game as well as the success stories has always got me hooked. The Dark Soul is another one especially in terms of difficulty and the setting of the game, I keep coming back to it.
