Playing video games helps stroke recovery

A new controller made for stroke patients is going to start testing soon. It's expected to help patient regain movement in their hands. The device is called The NeuroBall. The creators and the university behind it was funded £60,000 and are in the process of continuing development.

It's always great to see these efforts being made to help people recover from strokes, disabilities and other debilitating ailments. I hope they choose the games carefully, though. The last thing any stroke victem needs is Dark Souls or Ghosts and Goblins.
