Just wondering if anyone here is attending E3 in person.

Minecraft with the wee whippersnapper. (We’re building a big castle!)

When I was watching the trailer and saw Keanu Reeves in-game, if I had any doubts about getting Cyberpunk 2077 (I doubt I had any before), I was completely sold when I saw him. The best part was when he did the E3 presentation - I wasn't expecting that at all. I don't think any other E3 presentation this year will top that.

Why would you wanna play Overwatch on a mobile phone? Why would you wanna play any AAA game on a smartphone? Smartphones have limited battery life, limited processing power and most importantly, unless you shell out money for a bluetooth controller you're limited to a touch screen which has nowhere NEAR the amount of tactile feedback a keyboard or controller would have. Just get a Switch or PS Vita if you wanna play AAA games on the go.

The Matrix - 9.5/10 I still get goosebumps watching this movie 20 years later.

Monster Hunter World (Xbox One) Did some hunts with a very close friend of mine. Weekly bounties, most of them. After he had to go, I finished up my bounties. I did something I rarely do throughout the day. I went into each hunt with a different weapon. While my favorite weapons will always be Sword & Shield and (as of World) the Gunlance, when taking the Hunting Horn out with me on a solo hunt, I had been reminded just how much power that thing has behind it. I was hunting Dodogamas for the weekly bounty, and I didn't even need to sharpen before I took it out. (Don't ask how that's supposed to work with a blunt weapon...) I imagine I'd have had similar results bringing a Hammer to that particular hunt, but I'm still amazed at how effective the Hunting Horn actually is. I hear people often underestimate the thing, or just misunderstand it outright. In some ways, I prefer it over the Hammer as a blunt weapon. It's got better reach, for one. I wanna go through and master each and every one of the weapon types the game has to offer. All these varying playstyles are a lot of fun.

VR in its current state isn't really suitable for E-sports. In the future, it will happen at some point but the current tech we know as VR is very gimmicky at best and is riddled with issues.

That is a hilariously spot-on summary. Although, in the 2000s I remember it being werewolves and more vampires. I don't recall the witches, but perhaps I was out of the loop (no surprise there).

Extremely mediocre so far... In fact I would say it borders on being bad. Combat is fun at times but the enemy roster is extremely samey and not very interesting. Overall the game just lacks any of the charm and style of the first game and feels a lot more shallow and hollow. I would say in fact it ends up feeling like just another open world game with no originality at all. I do have a lot more to get into so I'll let you know when I'm writing my full review of it.

Ma 6.5/10 Went to see it last night. It wasn't as good as I was hoping. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good enough that it's something I can see myself watching again.
