  2. Agree with Alyxx and Katri above. Well directed cut-scenes and a focus on a strong narrative give games a cinematic quality. I often think third person perspective games are a little more filmic than first person, but both can be cinematic. Uncharted, The Last Of Us, the recent Tomb Raider titles and David Cage games are good examples of cinematic video game experiences.

  3. Yeah don't start on Hard difficulty. Did that myself and had a horrible experience. It does not make the game more difficult in any natural way and only turns enemies into insane bulletsponges.

Personally for me, being a trans female, creating female personas in games has always been important to me. Allows me to live in a world as the gender I identify as.

  5. I've been looking very carefully at the statues and paintings on your advice. Not only is the artwork amazing, but you are right--there are a lot of details i'd have missed otherwise in terms of plot. Thank you!

  7. You couldn't be any more true. It's good to feel powerful and extremely inteligent in video games and it sure gives you satisfaction when you manage to give justice to things. That's mainly the reason why I could never kill people without a reason in games. Even in multiplayer ones I prefer just doing the objective and avoid conflict 😄

  8. Apoptygma Berzerk. Been a fan of them since 2001. I own all of their releases, I've been to 2 concerts with them and my favourite song is probably going to be Kathy's Song.
